Barcelona B goalkeeper Joseph Fabrice Ondoa made his full Cameroon debut yesterday, after starting in the 2-0 away win against Morocco, in a qualifying match for the 2015 African Cup of Nations.

Really impressive young goalie, hope he gets the chances it seems Masip will not.

About time someone played over that scrub Kameni.

Great achievement for Ondoa to be playing in such a match at this age though. Sounds very talented.

Like Munir, he was with the Juvenile's and playing in the Youth Champions league just 6 months ago. Now called up for the NT.

This is algerias. None of the african countries have their firepower or industrious midfield. Only concern is the defense. Belkalem is tearing it up though, mandi and cademoro worry me.

We cant lose this if we play 100%. trust me

Klopp has called for this years comp to be cancelled because of the Ebola crisis.

I think I agree, I can see a few players not wanting to travel because of it, I think another option would be to hold it outside of Africa.

the issue is that a bunch of fans from high-risk ebola countries will be flocking to the tournament's location , not the host country itself .

nobody wants to host a competition in empty stadiums , the host nation gains nothing .

Moving it to perhaps Europe, more European fans would go, lessening the chances.

Cancelling it would be better though.

france would be an ideal location since it has the largest african community in europe .

the problem is that league and cup games would be taking place the same time as the AFCO , so booking the whole thing around that would be a logistical nightmare .

If Morocco pulls out they should never host it again.

Africa Cup of Nations: Day one

Group A: Equatorial Guinea(Nsue Lopez scored) nearly won the match but Congo managed to score in the last 5 minutes via Bifouma Koulossa's goal.

FT 1-1.

Second Group A match between Burkina Faso(runners up 2013) and Gabon to start in 2 minutes.

Belfodil changed the game. Gourcuff is definitely doing something with him. he had a great game, that own goal is really his goal. His technique is beautiful to watch. I want to see more of him in the SS position. In my eyes, hes completely turned the table from scrub mode at parma to playing really well.

This game showed how much we missed belkalem. Him and medjani are very good together. Taider is much better then lacen for this system and he showed it when he came on. All in all a tough game but I think we're ready for ghana.

This year's competition has some teams that were considered 'minnows' not long ago while missing some traditional 'heavy-weights' like Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria.

There is no favorite right now, very interesting .Teams' main weakness is lack of clinical strikers.
