A pity, I thought it would be a rather perfect situation. Reuniting Cassano and Balo, without the pressure to win constantly but if he did save the club from relegation he'd forever be a hero to the fans.

Even that is exagerated. I mean, he's the best player of Juve and France, one of the best players in the world, in his 2 years at Juve he has improved massively and he's only 21 yo so who knows how much he can improve further and he just renewed his contract but I wouldn't pay more than 30/35M for him.

It's all about what a team is willing to pay, and for THE young prospect who's already playing at a high level, WC Young player of the year, U-21 WC captain of the winning team, champion with Juve etc etc it's going to be an absurd fee

In this overinflated market I'd never sell him under €100mil. He is definitely a Golden Ball contender in the upcoming years, a talent rarely seen (and he happens to succeed with that talent unlike many).

Also it would be such a stupid choice to go back to MU. Maybe it's just me, but I'd never want to rejoin a club which ditched me at the first place, I don't care about professionalism. And considering we are talking about Pogba, I kinda think he feels like the same. Not to mention MU is in phase of rebuilding, RM / Chelsea and the likes would be better opportunities.

how are teams where his starting place is nowhere near guaranteed as ours "better opportunities"?

footballers care about playing time and money, both we can guarantee

and we didn't "ditch" him, he was unhappy with lack of playing time in the first team his final season and decided not to sign a new contract
