But Kroos rejected United before signing for Madrid.

It's not like United are competition for Real when a player's will is concerned, and you can't force a player to move to a club just because they're willing to pay you more transfer fee.

The last part I agree. We wanted a decision either way.

Di Maria refused Man U for months too... but once Real Madrid threatened to keep him if their target fee wasn't offered AND the mercato was getting near the end, Di Maria relented. 8 mil net is not something you want to lose when you're making 3 mil net currently.

Most people crumble under pressure when they have a lot to lose.... hard to keep the poker face in those circumstances.

Lewa and Benatia make them a million times stronger than last season. Not like they weren't strong already ffs.

Comes down to their tactics more than anything imo, they already had enough to do some serious damage to any team

But if Pep sets up against top teams the way he set his team up against Madrid, Benatia and Lewa aren't going to be able to do much anyway.

They should wipe the floor with the BuLi, mind you.
