there are a few ways of getting this but put on some church stuff, doesn't matter which, go back to the lamp where you fought him and then interact with his head and say yes

also GG, wonder if you'll be one of the these ppl who find ludwig the hardest in the dlc or if you're gonna get rekt 50 times by the final boss and optional one

Tbf If i played DLC straight after the main game and not a 7 month gap, i would have beaten him in 4 tries at best. I forgot how to be patient and strategic

I actually died to them once btw lol, the music in that fight was great though and it was slightly better than celestial emissary

lady maria is a GOAT fight tho, although I just spammed parry to wreck her second time, dat music

also if you didn't realize it she's who gehrman based the doll on, picked it up straight away due to the voice and appearance

you only have one section left if you've beaten maria, good luck on that final boss tho

Yea she has the same voice and accent.

She is not as difficult as Ludwig but her combos are deadly. Got her to 15% both times before dying. Can stagger her too.

Music in every fight has been 10/10.

yep, easily one of my favorite gaming OST's

there are some amazing tracks in all of the souls games, especially for final bosses

I died a couple of times to Maria too, you still have the two difficult bosses left though, died to both of them combined around 30 times probably

inb4 you beat it in 1, think you'll enjoy the final area it has an amazing atmosphere

did you give any brain fluid to that NPC btw in the research hall? think I mentioned it before but it's worth it

you have to give her 3, but there are only two that you can really find..the third you get by..I'll spoiler tag it because I know you said you like to find things out by yourself, but it's not anything major, just something I doubt you would try without knowing

after you give her the second then leave and come back to the area, you'll see her on the floor crawling around, attack her and she drops brain fluid that you can give to her for the final time

One of the best fights i've ever done anywhere. Pure skill ffs. No cheese or anything

easily a top 5 bloodborne boss.

yeah I really liked it, prefer Gehrman though (at least on NG+ and above, he's too easy on NG and the fight doesn't feel as epic) when she starts going HAM in her final phase it looks really cool, you can get that weapon in the DLC but it doesn't have the same effects smh.

gonna be mad if you don't feel the pain of being wrecked by the final boss for hours tbh
