Our best player. Our fortunes will definitely change when he comes back. I really have high hopes for Europa League with Daniel playing Proud

Even the semifinal of COC will be interesting and up in the air with Studge back.

as I wrote in the other thread, I want us to sign a striker in this window. I dont want us to rely on Studge anymore, somehow we need to get a finisher !!!

Hardly. United have been missing Di Maria and half of their defense, Arsenal have been missing half of their whole squad and City have recently missed all of their strikers, including their best player. I feel we've been lucky with injuries even with Sturridge's worries. So this news feels more like an inevitable statistic than a curse, really.

The last thing we've been is lucky with injuries Art ffs.

Sturridge getting injured 3 times back to back to back right when he's ready to come back.

Sakho, Skrtel, Johnson, Allen, Markovic, Lallana, Jones, Enrique, Flanagan, Lovren, Moreno, Manquillo, Suso, Balotelli, Can have all been injured and possibly forgetting some more.

We haven't been lucky at all man.

They've all had injuries, but for how long and how over-lapping ones? The fact is that apart from Sturridge, we've had an almost full-strength squad to choose from every time. Players like Allen, Markovic, Jones, Suso, Flanagan, Lovren, Enrique... Not exactly hard to replace.

The only true injury worry that we can say has hindered our squad has been Sturridge. After him the injuries we have had have been easily replaceable. Whereas you don't replace just like that players like Aguero, Dzeko, Di Maria, Falcao, Özil, Walcott, Ramsey, Wilshere, Koscielny, Giroud, Kompany... and several other squad players.

We've been lucky with injuries.

Is it just me, or do you guys think we are having

#1. Too many players getting injured
#2. Players getting injured for long time
#3. Players getting injured frequently

for last couple of seasons...

I dont think we are unlucky in terms of injuries and it is just poor Management, specially in the case of Studge !!

We're going to miss Lucas. Allen was constantly getting beaten. Should've tried to find cover this window. Oh well.

The article you posted says Flanagan has just returned to full training - or at least full speed running - so I'd imagine he could be fit to play in a month or so. However, I'm not sure can / should he get minutes, because he's not technically good enough to be a wing-back, imo.
