Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
They need to put the entire Attitude Era up and show RAW/Smackdown the day after it airs to get more subscribers imo.

As noted, John Cena is filming a movie called The Nest where he plays a bad guy. The following photo has popped up on social media of Cena on set for the movie. As you can see, he’s sporting several tattoos in the movie:

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
I hate Brie Bella, her acting is turrible and there is no need for her to scream out bitch every time she's on the mic to emphasize her point.
Other than that, the story behind the feud isn't bad. Steph back in the ring, wonder what her in ring gear is gonna look like.
Still don't know how that segment was the main event though lol.

The final rating for Monday’s WWE RAW was a 3.06, down from last week’s 3.15 rating. As noted, the show drew 4.318 million viewers, also down.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
The latest word on Sting and WWE is that they are hopeful to get a talent contract signed before SummerSlam. Sting is coming to Los Angeles for SummerSlam weekend but is not currently scheduled for the show itself.
Sting currently has deals with Mattel and 2K Sports but not a wrestling deal with WWE. Talk of Sting signing with WWE has become a running joke, among fans and wrestlers, because the two sides are basically in the same spot they were in when talks first started getting serious in January.
Sting has had talks with Vince McMahon before but never met him in person. Their first meeting will likely come during SummerSlam weekend.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
We noted earlier this week that Big Show and Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt in a dark match after Monday's RAW in Houston. Show and Ambrose celebrated after the match and it appeared WWE officials only wanted Show out there closing the show because they kept signaling for Ambrose to leave and return to the back.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
As seen on WWE TV since AJ Lee's return, fans have been chanting for CM Punk when she's in the ring. At WWE's live event in Oklahoma City last week, the fans there didn't chant for Punk at all but Paige referenced Punk when she did the call or "signal" for a GTS to taunt AJ in their match.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
WWE also announced today that the international roll-out of the WWE Network will take place on August 12th, before SummerSlam.
They will launch on August 12th in over 170 countries and territories, including Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Spain and the Nordics, among others. The Network is expected to be live in the UK by October 2014. Plans for the Network in Italy, UAE, Germany, Japan, India, China, Thailand and Malaysia will be communicated at a later date.
The Network will also launch on several Blu-ray players and smart TV’s in mid-August.
WWE will continue to offer the $9.99 per month price point if you commit for 6 months but will also offer one month with no commitment for $19.99.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Nah ups and downs are normal in a business like WWe. They will be in trouble if they constantly post losses each year which isn't the case.
The buy rates for WM and Extreme Rules isn't really surprising. Last year it was Cena Vs Rock and Cena vs Lesnar. This year it was a triple threat in WM and Bryan vs Kane lol.

That's the thing though, they don't have enough starpower (Their fault) so we're left with PPVs outside of the big 2 being shite.
