I wouldn't be surprised if players' looks were important for Perez. lol.
And in his mind he'd have the bestest, most handsome, talented starting 11. RM games will be like a concert every week full of fan girls. hah!

Why you gotta rag on Flo Peezy like that? He was nice enough to give you a caliber of player that United can't attract on their own anymore.

Di Maria must lead United into the Champions League now. No excuses, that's the minimum requirement for a Top 5 player.

According to DiMaria's dad the last offer real madrid made to DiMaria was 5 ME. No wonder he left, what kind of poverty offer is that

Re: NEW OFFICIAL: PSG sign Di Maria
5 mil net.... let's compare that to the other CMs in the world:
- Piggy - 10 mil gross or around 5 mil net
- Kroos - 12 mil gross or around 6 mil net
- Pirlo - 3,5 mil net
- Iniesta - 5 mil net
- Xavi - 9,3 mil gross or around 4,7 mil net
- Vidal - 4 mil net
- Yaya Toure - 15 mil gross or around 7,5 mil net
The only guy who is about that 4-6 mil range is Yaya Toure and he is GROSSLY overpaid as we all know. Not to mention Di Maria has only played at this level for 6 months.
5 mil net was a very, very fair offer.

ManUtd are really getting a brilliant player, if LVG cant sort out all the things this season, next season he will surly turn them around, at least to be in top 4 again

Re: NEW OFFICIAL: PSG sign Di Maria
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has claimed that Angel Di Maria wanted to move to the Parc des Princes.
The Argentina international joined Manchester United from Real Madrid for a British-record €84 million but explained in an open letter to Blancos fans that his desire had been to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu but that he felt he had been left with no other choice but to depart.
Al-Khelaifi has now alleged that Di Maria's first preference was a transfer to PSG but that the Ligue 1 champions were unwilling to meet the asking price.
"Di Maria wanted to come to Paris but even without FFP (Financial Fair Play), we wouldn't have signed him," he told Le Parisien.
However, while Al-Khelaifi insisted that adhering to Uefa's financial regulations did not put PSG off signing Di Maria, he did launch a bitter attack on the European game's governing body and its president.
"I do not know if Michel Platini wants to kill French football, but FFP is not fair," the Qatari fumed.
"It is very difficult to understand. The big clubs stay big and small clubs remain small.
"We respect the rules but want to discuss it with Uefa in October to try to change the rules a little.
"Otherwise investors will not come in football; they will go to other sports such as Formula 1."
FFP was introduced by Uefa with the stated goal of curbing the allegedly excessive spending of Europe's clubs.

Think it's common knowledge United wasn't Di Maria or Falcao's 1st choice. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just plain nuts

That is an extremely fair offer. This pretty much confirms that the only thing Di Maria cared about was money

Re: NEW OFFICIAL: PSG sign Di Maria
Lol
Ronaldo had the biggest tantrum when he didn't get the contract he wanted and don't even get me started on Ramos who demands a raise every 3 days getting his agent to link him to Milan/Bafca and recycle quotes where Maldini/Puyol praise him or call him a "heir"
Let's just call DiMaria a money grabbing pos when he was the lowest paid starter in our team and whose raise wasn't even as much as Modric's which was raised to €6.5 or the luxury toy we bought who is getting €6.5, yeah lets blame DiMaria for looking out for his own needs having had to spend his entire Madrid creer picking up the slack of other lazy teammates while getting paid a fraction of what they are
I am not saying it wasn't money related but to say he moved because of United's huge offer is wrong imo. Why would he leave a team he was an automatic starter for and a team which could have become even better for a fragile and brittle United with no CL
He probably feels disgusted how a certain someone in the team keeps getting cuddled and cared for getting an extension while he has to fight for his spot every year and get so little in wages. He probably thought they never appreactiated him which I agree with because it's not the first time the team has refused him a raise which was promised when he signed
Anyways he is gone now, I posted that at the hight of my rage I have gone through all stages of grief so I am fine now. In the short term both parties will miss eachother but in the long term we shall see. I am just pissed we didn't get a real replacement instead of spending so much on an AM and going all Galliani when we realised we couldn't buy any big players because we had to balance our books. Not only his loss but of Alonso too unless Carlo actually starts trusting Illarra in which case a midfield three of Modric-Illarra-Kroos can be the balance Carlo so raves on about. We never really expected Alonso to stay beyond last season so hopefully Illarra learnt as much as possible and gets the coache's confidence because if we continue with Modric-Kroos-James/Isco we are gling to see results similar to this in big numbers. You don't ask your AMs to defend like a CM, CDM because that's not their game and which is why losing Ozil ended up being the right choice

Yeah man, Di Maria would have been making pennies at 5m a year (net) to play soccer. Now he's really rolling in the dough.

Re: NEW OFFICIAL: PSG sign Di Maria
Yeah we get that but you could say that for anybody making over 10K a Week playing football
Obviously those are amazing wages, the rest of us can all admire as he makes millions to do something he loves.
However, no matter how good your wage is or what your job is, if you're surrounded by people making a LOT more than you are, doing the same job as you are and as with ADMs case doing it to a lesser level, yeah you're gonna want their wages.
If I was making a fraction of that to play football i'd be *bleep* loving it. But if I was on a team and despite being a key player, most of the starting XI was out earning me you're damn right i'd be knocking on the door for a pay rise.
