Ref was absolutely shit for both sides. Unbelievable how someone so shit gets to do his thing at the WC. Thanks FIFA, for throwing Africa this bone.

Lot of respect for the Brazilians. A lot of them stayed behind to applaud our team after the game.

Netherlands deserves the 3rd place, Brazil didn't even deserve to get past Chile, they relied too much on luck.
Worst Brazil team I've ever seen, awful.
And to think that some people thought Brazil was going to win it...

yeah , because european and latin american referees did so much better in this WC   

the mexican  referee who missed suarez's bite and gave a bogus red to marchisio  was awarded the semi final between brazil and germany yet fifa is throwing africa a bone by giving a meaningless game to a referee who didn't have a single  moment of controversy in this world cup ..
the worst referee in this world cup was probably that european guy in the colombia VS brazil game ..

but yet, just like in every world cup , people are actually having debates over the " problem " of referees from " lesser " and non-football nations

Brazil lost the game because Netherlands were good. Congratulation Netherlands. Not surprised with the result.

From the beginning of the WC i was not expecting much from Brazil. Wanted them to go past quarter finals. Oscar Neymar Silva Luiz and Hulk were the players which i wanted them to make impact on the overall game. It was Neymar and Silva who contributed to the team at various moment and it was sheer Home ground advantage which Brazil took without any doubt. Hulk and Oscar fail to make the impact we were expecting.

That 7-1 defeat is way too much no matter what the configuration of the game is , even Portugal lost 4-0 with one man down. That match was a lowest point of Bazillion side i know/seen.

Maybe some of the players will not be part of the Brazil team. But the team overall is new fresh and will comeback with more force.

Over all this was an awesome WC for me. Enjoyed every twist and drama. Be it Spain trashing or 7-1 defeat it was brilliant.

I hope the Final is not boring 0-0.

The essence of that part of my post was that he was shit and that it was likely he was going to be shit. Or do you disagree?  If a referee and the other officials are used to a slow paced game at low level, can you really expect them to perform well in these high paced games? You can hope he pulls a rabbit out of his ass and does a grade A job, but it's not very likely, is it?
