Poor decision to not bring in krul. Their keeper clearly had no confidence after being taken out last time. lf you do it once you have to do it every time.

No, they weren't. Both teams were extra cautious and as a result there were few chances for either side.

Credit to Argentina though. In a WC, it doesn't matter how you play as long as you win because the second you're a WC winner the revisionist history kicks in and everybody associated is instantly world class.

Had nothing to do with confidence. Cillessen is just bad at penalties. But you can't save 1/3 subs just for a possible penalty shooutout every game especially as tbh Krul isn't even a "killer". Vermeer would be.
