There is a difference btw Suarez enhancing the team and giving us more edge AND team build around him.

The reason why kill scrub teams with ease is because of our system where we create abundance of chances.Obviously Suarez being world class player helps but main factor is the system and BR .

Our system wasnt build around anyone.We missed Suarez for 6 games last year and we managed to stay close to top comfortably and now with lot more depth its laughable to say we cant stay in touch for 3 more games.

Stats are well and dandy but it doesn't disprove my statement. Of the 5 EPL games which Suarez missed last season 3 were narrow 1-0s, 1 draw, 1 loss and none of those teams were actually particularly tough except United like your fixture list the upcoming season will be. My point is simply that 9 games without Suarez can already kill your entire season. Unless you keep him but add quality like Sanchez on top of it (but Barca ain't selling Sanchez without replacing him). Make that actually 13 or 14 games as I don't see how someone who will miss 4 months of training will come in and influence games. Last season he could at least train with his teammates and had just 5 games of rest. Training day in day out is so much more crucial to match fitness though.

Liverpool did great to start the season without Suarez this past year... if i remember correctly, Sturridge and Sterling were killing it and Liverpool were in 1st place when suarez returned from suspension (for his 2nd chomp).

Liverpool still easily finish top 4 without Suarez.

Who gonna get instead? Spurs or Everton? Lol pls.

I do mean last season btw, who knows how teams will strengthen this summer.

It was Studrrige who was carrying us when Suarez was suspended.he has record like 9 goals in 10 matches without Suarez i think

Yeah that Villa game we were poor but absolutely battered stoke first match even though the score line would say 1-0.We had 6-0 Newcastle away and fulham 4-1(i think) the previous season as well.

We will miss him certainly massively but now with Sterling in and lot more depth in the squad we can manage until he returns imo.

Anyway  the ban will be reduced after the appeal

For me the likeliest is Liverpool dropping out, particularly when missing their MVP for a quarter of the season. Last season was slightly punching above their weight IMO. The only team where everything clicked and some more while Chelsea had not 1 functioning striker, United had Moyes and Arsenal had some major injuries to Rambo and Flopzil. I might be undererstimating them and Sepi will not lend me his sister ever again but that's how I see it in all honesty.

Adding 2 players will not be enough for United to displace Liverpool or any one else out of the top 4 imho. To assume that Suarez is the core reason to their resurgence is a bit disrespectful to their manager and other players who have stepped up.

Also, LVG is no Alex Ferguson. There is nothing which suggests that he will get the team running from the get go. Moyes wasnt the only reason why the team was soo poor last season. A lot of the players simply were washed up, or were made to look like super stars under SAF.

I personally think that there is enough quality within the Liverpool squad for them to balance the league run with other cup games. At worst, they may have to not gaf about the Capital 1 cup.

You still need a better striker than Giroud if you want to challenge for the title imo.

Can't attend matches in stands.
Can't visit training ground for medical attention or meetings.
Can't be in any team photos for the season (unless taken after ban).
Can't be a part of any LFC merchandizing or advertising campaigns started during ban.
All too related to playing the game to be allowed under the ban.

But he CAN transfer between clubs.
That's NOT related to playing the game.

those are parts of the ban that will be changed after appeal, it's utterly ridiculous. It's as if fifa want him to disappear for 4 mnonths
