Even if Suarez plays i still think Colombia will win.... they are not that good they wouldn't be through if Italy's attack wasn't so toothless..

Suarez is probably not going to play again in this world cup. My allegiance to Uruguay is done. I'm going with Colombia for the rest of the tourny until they meet USA in the final.

Martinez i sort of get as despite his touch being an train wreck give him chances in and around the box and he will score.

Ramos on the other hand is pointless, as i said if Ibarbo is benched it will be for Quintero as dat Quintero-James link up is sexy.

Yes , yes 9 points , but sry m8 i've yet to jump on this ship. James Rodriguez? Exciting player. Cuadrado? Nothing new to me personally. Ibarbo , Teo , Guarin , Zapata-Yepes ? Not bad , not bad at all . The thing is , they've yet to face a team better than them . And Uruguay is just that , imo at least .

I am not really that impressed with Colombia , ok they won 9 points in the easiest group of the WC. Whoosh !! so hype , such #getin !!

Don't know what will happen but i am quite sure Uruguay have everything it takes to get past Colombia .

Uruguay is not a better team, they have better forwards but that's it.

They are very lucky to be here, they don't beat us if Gerrard isn't a complete and utter idiot and Italy's attack is a joke and if you give them Colombia's attack and they batter them.

I get that people are skeptical of Colombia but lets not act Uruguay are this great team. Their midfield is crap and Godin aside their defence is nothing to talk about either.

So no they don't have more than enough to deal with Colombia, especially if Suarez is out its forgotten that without Suarez they lost to Costa Rica

Something that must be added into the equation is that 85% of the Maracana will be filled with Colombians and Brazilians, we will probably see something similar to the Chile-Spain match in favor of Colombia

Abel and Sanchez are solid in the midfield I really don't see either benched nor have they done anything to deserve to be. Unless something happens I don't see Guarin back in the starting XI.

fair enough points , but i still maintain my position tbh. Colombia has yet to fully convince me , perhaps you are right and it's just me , but that's what i am thinking right now.

Obviously they will be weaker if Suarez does not play , yet i certainly won't write off Uruguay because Colombia roflstomped the easiest group of the WC.

I saw a tough team coming out of a tough group after a disastrous start. They had some much needed good luck and Suarez was of great help , but they could do with some more credit than they are given . They are not one Suarez , if you ask me that is and their group stage was very hard , it would have been very hard for any NT out there. Comparing that to Colombia's group stage fun , which btw i am by no means saying they are bad or anything , but i think they will meet an Uruguay who escaped hell and ready for anything , with renewed hope and confidence . I am sure Uruguay are much more happy to play Colombia than Colombia them.

But anyway we'll see , i've been wrong in the past alright. I am just thinking Uruguay are better than what they have shown so far .
