This is where Scolari only playing his regular XI most games is going to hurt.... the quarter final is in 6 days and there is no Gustavo. You're not going to fully recover from a game like this in that amount of time. Also, you're looking at Ramires-Marquinhos or Paulinho-Marquinhos. None of these guys are anywhere near as good defensively as Gustavo.

Chile is top 5 team in the world. Saying they win anything because they barely got past one of the favorites is pulling the trigger too quick.

They wont have to play a team this good until the final if all goes to plan.

if this same Brazil is going to come in every game from now on, I am not convinced that they will come even in final...mostly will be kicked out in semi final

rg, I was backing Chile right through. Exciting team. One feels for the underdog. Played well today. However one truth must be recognized. Chile were extremely negative in extra time while Brazil at least sought the winning goal. In general it's better that the team that takes the match to the shoot out should lose out there.
