The idea behind Randy Orton defeating Dean Ambrose on last night’s RAW was that it keeps Orton strong for his upcoming pay-per-view matches with Roman Reigns. Their match on last Friday’s SmackDown ended with Ambrose winning by disqualification.

Today marks one year since The Wyatt Family debuted on WWE RAW and attacked Kane. WWE's website has an article up looking at their run on the main roster so far.

The agents used in the Kane and Roman Reigns segment on last night's RAW were Jamie Noble, Fit Finlay, Dean Malenko, Joey Mercury and Mike "IRS" Rotunda.
Noble is the one who Reigns shoved across the ring and Finlay took the spear from Reigns. Finlay was trending on Twitter after the segment.

They should get a power struggle angle going with Sting imo. Have him come out and say the board of directors have appointed him the new commissioner of WWE.
Wyatt, Reigns and Sandow will be his top 3 guys. Reigns eventually turns on them and joins the authority. Then Triple H starts using Stephanie as eye candy, she see's that and joins Sting's stable.
Bray then converts Stephanie to sister Stephanie.

Forgot to mention Cena would be on Sting's side to begin with, but then he would turn heel and join the authority as the new 'face'.

Jack Swagger likely was not on last night's WWE RAW from Canada due to his previous legal troubles in the United States. As recent as January of this year, Swagger had to miss WWE events in Canada for the same reason. It's possible he still isn't allowed into Canada.
Zeb Colter was reportedly at last night's RAW but WWE aired a sidebar video of him instead of having him in front of the live crowd because they didn't want the "Real American" to get booed by the Canadian crowd. Swagger and Zeb are playing the babyface role in the feud with Rusev and Lana.

It was announced at tonight’s SmackDown tapings in Ottawa that The Usos will defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Erick Rowan and Luke Harper in a 2 of 3 Falls Match at Battleground on July 20th. Paige vs. AJ Lee was also announced. Here’s the updated card:

- * Lilian Garcia comes out to sing the Canadian National Anthem to kick off SmackDown.
* Lana and Rusev open SmackDown by coming to the ring for an anti-Canadian promo. Roman Reigns comes through the crowd to a big pop. Reigns cuts a promo and says he won’t be crushed. Lana says Reigns should be afraid. Reigns says, “you’re telling ME to be afraid?!” Things get heated but referees get in between them before they start fighting. Lana backs Rusev off.
* Cameron vs. AJ Lee is next. Cameron tries to walk out but Naomi comes from behind and throws her back in the ring. AJ gets the win with a Shining Wizard. Naomi and Cameron have a staredown.
* Renee Young interviews Randy Orton. Orton says he doesn’t care what Roman Reigns thinks and all he thinks about is what’s best for business. Orton says he’s going to introduce Chris Jericho to the Legend Killer tonight.
* Adam Rose comes out with Summer Rae. Rose vs. Fandango is next. Layla and Summer start fighting outside of the ring as soon as the match starts. Fandango eventually goes to split them up but gets counted out. Fandango argues with the referee as Rose celebrates. Rose comes from behind and hits the Party Foul.
* Heath Slater comes out next to a pop and Titus O’Neil joins him. WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos are out next for a non-title match. The Usos get an easy win. Byron Saxton interviews The Usos in the ring. Our correspondent said it was a very boring try at comedy by The Usos.
* Chris Jericho comes out to a big pop. After his entrance, Bray Wyatt appears on the big screen and gets a “whole world in his hand” chant going. Randy Orton is out next. This was described as a really entertaining match. The match ends when Jericho hits the Lionsault and as he’s pinning Orton, the Wyatt Family graphic flashes on the big screen. Orton takes advantage of Jericho being distracted and hits a RKO for the win.
* Layla vs. Summer Rae with Fandango as special referee, a rematch from Money In the Bank is next. Summer kisses Fandango and then Layla does, causing Fandango to dance. Fans hum Fandango’s theme and he keeps dancing. Summer and Layla both attack Fandango. The segment ends with Fandango sitting on the stage in disbelief as Layla and Summer have apparently decided to team up now. They show off and dance.
* Goldust defeated Ryback. Curtis Axel and Stardust were at ringside. Stardust got reactions from the crowd throughout the match. Ryback attacks Goldust after the match and as he’s about to hit Shellshocked, Stardust blows the gold dust in in Ryback’s face.
* Bo Dallas vs. Diego and El Torito in a Handicap Match is next. Bo pins Diego for the win and then attacks Torito, laying him out with a running Bo-dog.
* Rusev vs. Roman Reigns is the main event, said to be a pretty good match. Rusev dominated most of the match. Reigns hit the Superman punch and was about to hit the spear but Randy Orton attacked from behind, causing the match to end in a disqualification. Rusev hits his superkick on Reigns and is about to crush him when Lana stops him and they leave. Orton waits for Reigns to get up and hits the RKO. Orton goes to spear Reigns but Reigns gets up and spears him first to end SmackDown.

As noted before, Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton is planned for SummerSlam if Triple H vs. Reigns doesn’t happen. It comes down to Triple H and if he wants to wrestle or not but given how they’re trying to build Night of Champions up and how the feud with Triple H is going to be a big moment for Reigns’ Road to WrestleMania, they may save it for after SummerSlam.
Whichever feud he works first, Reigns will be going over as he continues to be held in very high regard among most WWE higher-ups.
Regarding Seth Rollins cashing in, word this past week is that he will feud with Dean Ambrose until after SummerSlam and likely even longer – through Night of Champions and up to Hell In a Cell.
There are plans for several big “cash in” angles between Rollins and Ambrose but Rollins isn’t expected to actually cash in his title shot until after the feud with Ambrose. There has been no decision made yet on when Rollins will cash in or anything like that.

The big fight between Naomi and Cameron on this week's RAW was indeed seen as the official split between the two. The split will obviously be featured on Total Divas but there's no word yet on what WWE has planned for either Diva.
