Btw, fear not guys, I know we will sign a marquee player over the summer. Puma will make us their flagship team , and will probably push us to sign a Balotelli type of player. Problem with Morgan Schneiderlin & Gustavo is that if we sign them, we essentially have three players in the same position and who can't play anywhere else hence no utility ( Flamini can't play fullback anymore). That might not be a big deal for us fans but in Wenger's opinion that's one too many. Looking at top 4 last season, none of the team has 3 DM, 2 at most and in case of Chelsea & City they even play their CB as DM. Kallstrom signed last winter due to Ramsey & Wilshere injuries not glaring lack of quality in DM position.

I believe if Wenger could offload one of Arteta & Flamini, he would jump in and sign a DM immediately.

Agreed, it's one of the reasons why I didn't want Flamini in the first place, because of him we will not sign a DM this summer and will only do so in 2015 when Arteta's contract expires.

Every time i watch Sanchez with CHile, he reminds me how destructive a player he can be. I loved that interview where he is aware that he is limited at Barca, and sounds very much like he would like to find a team where he has that freedom again. Neymar will be in the same situation in 2 years, although, since he is a lot better off the ball he will have more success without maximizing his potential.

It will be between juve and you guys for Alexis. He would be a game changer wherever he goes, easily has the potential, talent and abilities to become a top 5 attacker any league he goes in.

If Barcelona get big enough an offer i think they would sell. Di Marzio mentioned how interested by Cuadrado they are, i assume they would just go that direction to replace him + the CF they seem to covet some much.
