In any case, i really don't see Arsenal competing for any trophy other than Community Shield or FA assuming that the big clubs get knocked out early so that there aren't crazy obstacles for them. EPL and CL are completely out of the question at this point... i look at the targets and the words by Gadzidis and it's clear as day.

I should probably just accept it and let it go.

We only win the community or FA again if Wenger does not do the same thing he did in previous seasons playing a team of squadies and youth.

Maybe we won't even get fourth, that seems to be the only way that anything would change, is if we didn't have the CL to play in.

Wenger needs to understand he cant get possession by simply putting midfeilders on wings yes against small team its works but against bigger clubs we get fcked.

Forget the price, there are probably players below Cesc's valuation that would fit Mou's system better.

I don't disagree with Nick. Debuchy isn't WC at anything, but he's better rounded: He's a decent defender and great on the attack. Sagna is great on defense but really poor on the attack. Teams just completey ignored Sagna when France NT attacked and it created problems... so DD was forced to start Debuchy and it got fixed.

Could do much worse than sign Debuchy. But Newcastle will overprice him.

Sagna is underrated because we ship too many goals against big teams and he is not the flashiest of player. I bet once Sagna signs for City, you hear everyone praising his performances.

sagna is on the down slope of his career. He will be glad to get some games when Zabaleta needs to rest.

Arsene sees him as a deep lying midfielder, problem is Ramsey already occupies that position as a box to box midfielder so Jack is left with no position

that is basically the problem ramsey ozil and cazorla thrive at that role. although ramsey is bit different he can attack and defend and score. so he keeps the balance because in the team.

Wilshere has been piss poor in last few matches. he just stands and picks the easiest pass. he is best going forward and running at defenders. dont look much back just yesterdays match against ecu he was all over and it was because of lamp and wilshere england were being so easily bypassed. wilshere game just doesnt suite his current position where he is playing. if he was playing where barkley was yesterday he would have been WORLD CLASS.

Hazzard on the left Diego Costa in the middle and Schurrle on the right with Cesc (better than Oscar) as cam. To me that sure looks like a lot more goals without compromising much if anything.

@6unner that's not how Mou will play him. He's looking for a midfield partner to Matic. Oscar's role at CAM is settled. If Mata, Chelsea's best player for two seasons prior couldn't impress Mou enough to dethrone Oscar or even stay at Chelsea, I highly doubt he's signing Fabregas to challenge the player he promised to build his team around.

Anyway, Mourinho just said no Fabregas deal will happen before the World Cup.
