Re: World Cup: Group D discussion
Poor Suarez.
I suppose a racist and a cannibal should not be criticized.
Everything he was criticized for was absolutely just, as was the praise he got by the same media.
He's such a sensitive baby.

England naturally don't have the technical ability, big game mentality or the winning mentality that other teams do. England need a foreign manager. Not just any foreign manager, but someone who has a clear way of playing and someone who knows how modern football is played.
After Hodgson, who are the possible English candidates to become the new manager? Redknapp, Allardyce, Bruce? None of them are good enough.
Vicente Del Bosque might become available
If Bosque could not win with Spain what would he be able to do with England?

Roy is a poor manager. He has never had any relevant success over his 30 years of managing teams across Europe. He is basically a poor version of Moyes because Moyes is actually good at sticking to his principles and plays the way he thinks the team can at least get something out of the game.

Re: World Cup: Group D discussion
Who cares what Hodgson thinks
Fact is he's been moaning about the treatment his entire time in England.... if he doesn't want to be treated badly he shouldn't act like a c*nt.
Hang on he was given player of the year last season, when he concentrated on his football and stop being a total bellend... in England we treat people how they behave around us, if he's going to be a total dickhead we'll treat him like one and so on.
He plays for the right club, its never his fault and everyone is always against him.

When Arsenal faced Milan in CL a couple of years ago Woy said Arsene should be careful with Pirlo. Meanwhile, Pirlo was winning the scudetto with Juve

Suarez being unfairly persecuted by the F.A is the biggest myth going but like you say that's just the mentality at his club. Always the victims.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Who cares what Hodgson thinks

There is still no clear proof for this whatsoever. Just because the FA says so without any due process doesn't make it true at all.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Poor Suarez.

I'm happy for Suarez, he lives on to terrorize Brazil and there is no one that deserved to kick out England more than him.

Nishy why that Pereira avatar?
Suarez is simply unreal. I don't know if he has some weakness tbh . he scores in every way.
I have always said he is better than Cavani even with an only leg, but hell , he confirmed me this even with FACTS

Stuff like this often comes back to bite you - like "which of these German players would make the English squad?" or Maradona taking Thomas Müller for a ballboyRobespierre wrote:Hodgson has really said this ??Natalie Portman wrote:and he was ridiculed by England manager before the game as he called him "Not world clasS" and he shoved it up his ass beautifully. Re: World Cup: Group D discussion
England were awful. I don't know what the game plan was, in the first-half looked to be something like: "When we're in possession, stand still and watch the player with the ball. Minimize your own movement, don't try to play forward passes or if you have to, make it a long ball through the air. And, oh, before I forget, the more Welbeck drifts into the middle to a play-making role, the better. Lallana and Barkley, you'll be on the bench, by the way. Okay, lads, let's go, but remember, show zero urgency out there."
Hodgson should be fired on the spot.
Gerrard, I'm sad to say this, but he is prone to some huge mistakes. The last thing you can do to a ball like that is to head it backwards straight towards your own goal at speed.
England looked better when they had to chase the game in the 2nd half, but chance creation was again a problem. Taking Sterling off first was laughable. Welbeck is a counter-attacking player but England couldn't counter, so why the f*** keep him on? Barkley looked a million miles better than him.
Like the Italy game, this one, too, showed why Carroll needed to be in the team. He gives you so many knock-downs and flick-ons and aerial threat that it's ideal for situations like these when the other team is defending deep.
Such a frustrating result, because England have more quality all in all in their squad than Uruguay, but that man Hodgson just has no idea how to get that quality showing. Shambles.

Re: World Cup: Group D discussion
From England's point of view, it's by no means out of the question that Italy will defeat both Costa Rica and Uruguay. The real question is goal difference. England will need to thrash Costa Rica to get through. Current goal difference is Costa Rica* +2, Italy* +1, Uruguay -1, England -2.

nahh italy will destroy costa rica and play bench against uruguay, after beating costa rica they are practically secured for first, and would be unwise to not rest their starters to not risk injury etc.

I'm so f*cking happy that Mario Balotelli and Luis Suarez helped kick England out of the World Cup. Absolutely delighted.

Re: World Cup: Group D discussion
Gil pls
I think Italy won't help you because simply I can't see Italy getting 9 points on 9 , not because it doesn't want to do it.
I don't remind when Italy did the " ein plein " for the last time in WC even Italy better than this ( and many were better than this..) didn't do it. We are not the typical bottler NT who dominates group stage and then it gets eliminated as soon as possible . We are a NT who grows gradually , it was always been so .
