Well, my friend and I were having an argument as who was better. I said Ramsey is better due to having a better offensive skillset and better passing ability but he seems to believe that Matic is the better passer and he also believes that Matic's defensive abilities are much better then Ramsey's which I don't believe is true. So I would like to hear your opinion.

I understand that people like to compare all kind of players but you can't really compare two players who if played in their natural positions can play together in a team. Matic is defensively stronger as he's naturally a defensive midfielder and Ramsey is stronger in attack as he's more attacking minded. Pair them together and you have Martinez-Schweinsteiger 2.0

Wouldnt mind seeing them in the same midfield tbh, which is better depends on the role you need them to play though

You can't compare these 2 guys, totally different roles and type of players,

Ramsey is better offensively hands down, passing ability I'd say it's close I've seen them thread some really awesome through balls. Although I've haven't seen much of Ramseys long passing ability, unlike Matic who does have a wide range.

Defensively it's not even a contest either, Matic is a complete rock.
