Makes sense to me, provided the final is played on neutral ground. Would make for more spectacle as well.

Only possible problem I see is that if the match goes over 120 minutes, does the entire league get decided on penalties? That seems like a cop out. Perhaps that would call for a follow up game.

playoff head to head reduces a whole season of work to a one off. What its like a nadal federer thing where a great team is just poorly matched against its rival but owns everyone else

One of the stupidest things I've read this year. They play a league, the result from the games should decide the league, not some random addon games.
