Arsenal 1 - 0 West Brom: End of season game
Today's game had that distinct end of season feel to it, and so will this thread. I don't see much point talking about this game, given there was nothing at stake. We played well enough in the first half, and not very well in the second half, but who cares? Nice to get three points and keep the winning run going, but had we not won I wouldn't have been at all concerned. Good for Giroud to get another goal and I thought Ozil was excellent.
Norwich to come next week. They'll probably be relegated by then, so it'll be another dead rubber.
Seems Sagna is leading the lap of honour. Big thanks to him for his years of service at Arsenal, where he was one of the best right backs around and one of the most consistent players I've seen in an Arsenal shirt.

Our entire British Core had no role in the final home game.

Lost count the amount of times Sagna gave the ball away today. Defensively brilliant, creatively abysmal

This is why BT Sports is better. Not only would they have shown the lap, but we'd get a slo-mo extreme close up of Podolski's boot as he ran

Also if this is Sagna's last home game with us, thank you for everything Bac! So unfortunate to play in this trophyless era.
Can't hate on the guy even if he joins City, he's a legend in my eyes.

We need another like Theo. And I don't mean Ox. A real pacy winger who can dribble and cross and finish.

Also is it just me that gets the feeling you want Sagna to stay so his wife doesn't leave too

I am with you Mole, I know he will stay at Arsenal. He loves Arsenal and I hope Wenger gives him what he deserves.

I want Sagna to stay because:
A. She is hot
B. Her husband is good at football
C. She is hot

Re: Arsenal 1 - 0 West Brom: End of season game
So from the looks of things it seems like his mind is already made up about leaving...
I hope he gets a change of heart and decides to stay. We would be losing a very good defender.
