Well, I have my own style of playing and I don't intend to change it for this game. I'm just going to keep running into camping hobos until I somehow manage to kill one of them. I've tried playing more passively, but it just doesn't work for me in this game. Hell, I even tried camping in our spawn, and it lead to me getting noobtube'd from the side and shot at from behind, at the same time.

I just can't seem to adapt to these maps. I know my way around them, but I don't know where or how I should move about them, without getting shot from a dead angle. Whenever I double jump in S&D, I tend to get too eager and I press the right thumb-stick (tactical setup), which causes my player to brace himself and do that incredibly annoying ground stomp thing that I'm never ever going to use intentionally.

I'll give the campers a taste of their own medicine.

Are there any guns similar to M16?

Yeah there's a semi auto in the game. Think it's called MK14.

m16 is burst fire

i'd say the IMR is closest to m16

Pretty sure there is a burst weapon similar to m16. Can't remember its name but could be IMR

IMO I'll use the IMR then.

I like my weapons to have high damage, since I don't really rush around on SnD.

14 damage, highest out of AR's and 10 agility, which is ok.

Yeah, but they're not as reliable for one-burst kills, and all of the weapons in AW deal a shit ton of damage, so yeah... you're probably going to end up using Bal. I don't think your style of camping is going to be as effective in this game, as it was in older CoDs

Ah forgot M16 was burst weapon. Yeah the closest is IMR. I'ts alright. Second best AR after Bal imo. If you get a elite IMR then you'll destroy the opponents.


Such bs that you can't save your elite weapon when you prestige like you can with everything else from weapons to perks ffs

My style was effective on MW2 SnD. Was pulling off clutches, topping the kill charts with Thimmy.

Maps are quite good and small ffs. Not as big as real life london.

I don't think your camping will be as effective in this game, because you can't really camp efficiently in AW, due to how the maps are designed. Also, there are tons of annoying stuff that people can use to sneak up on you, like tracking drones, see-through-wall attachments, invisibility exo, threat grenade etc etc. I've been killed by TONS of corner and bush campers while playing S&D with Versacci, but I'm pretty sure those campers didn't really do that well apart from being able to kill my free running arse

I usually just run around until I see someone, but they usually see me first lol. If they spot you first, there's little you can do since you die so friggin' fast in this game. With that being said, I have experienced spotting someone and started shooting at 'em, just for that person to turn around and kill me in a matter of milliseconds. It's probably just me sucking at this game, but sometimes it just feels as if some of my bullets go right trough them without being registered as hits. Especially, when I shoot at players that are in mid-air.

Unlike in previous Call of Duty games, there are extremely few good camping spots in AW that are situated in trafficked areas of the maps. I'm sure you'll be able to find somewhere to sit, but don't count on getting many kills that way Oh, and there's no HB-sensor in this game.

There's also no Dead Silence. Sledgehammer justified their removal of the Dead Silence perk by claiming that they had something else in mind, that would fit their vision of the game better. I still don't know what they were referring to. I don't think I've gotten killed by "sound whores" that many times, but I've seen a few.

Won so many 1v1 cause I exo jumped and got them mid air or landed behind them. Also you can exo slam them by pressing circle while in air which is instant kill lmao
