Best not be a generic 'I am the best in the shield' break up which ends up in a triple threat. That would only lead one to get a push while the other 2 to go astray.

It should be something shocking. Like two out of three plan to join the authority again and betray the 3rd member.

If not then they should just say that they all need to go separate to chase the WHC and that way they can still occasionally team up.

Individually non of them are good enough for the title. It's only as a group they have a gimmick. They need to start from the midcard, build up a character and only then they'll be good enough.

I am not saying they should be fighting Bryan for the title straight away. They should just break up and then do whatever they have to do.

They should just stick together tbh. Evolution is not going to last long and Wyatts n Shield are the best heel and face trio out there.

He beat all those top guys as part of a group, even if he won individually. Plus he didn't beat Punk clean and he beat Orton on a tour. There would be nothing wrong with Reigns getting a run with the IC title while building up his character.

How about this for a Shield break up?

The Authority realises that with Batista leaving, they are weaker than they already are against the Shield, who are running wild and doing as they please, so the Authority, with devious minds like Steph and Triple H decide to break the Shield from within. But the problem is, these guys are close like brothers, the advantage is that they are as close as brothers and brothers fight and argue with each other. They wonder who they should target and they signal out Reigns as a replacement for Batista. He has the family background, the build, the look, he is the best possible bet to be 'The future' of Evolution (like Orton was.) Hunter and Steph start to quietly talk to Reigns, feeding his ego and in general being cunning masterminds, telling him that Reigns is better than Rollins and Ambrose, that the Shield only wins because of Reigns, that he IS the future of the company and only Evolution can take him to the great heights, using Orton and Batista as an example. At first, Reigns doesn't fall for it, but slowly the Authority's words start to play on his mind, he starts to wonder that if he is becoming bigger than The Shield and if he is actually being held back.

Now, this can go two ways:

1. Lets call this the generic way.

Dean and Seth find out something is wrong and confront Reigns about it, they first try to talk Reigns out of it slowly and nicely, but they realise Reigns is in too deep and is falling into the Authority's grasp. They don't like it, not one bit, so they decide to end Reigns before he ends them. So, during a match with whoever, they turn on Reigns, beating him down badly, blindsiding him till Evolution comes in and saves Reigns from Seth and Ambrose (This makes Seth and Ambrose look strong as a team and while it might make Reigns look weak, he has ample time to bring himself up)

2. How I would actually like them to go.

Dean and Seth start to pick up the scent and confront Reigns about it, telling him they started out together and have always had each others backs and if Reigns turns on them, they would be hurt and they would not take it lightly, thus leaving Reigns looks undecided. The week before SummerSlam (or whatever PPV they think would be right) HHH tells Reigns privately that he could run wild with the Shield, who are heading in no direction, or he could grow with Evolution and become who he was destined to be (preferbaly during Smackdown because the timing and impact would be more perfect than on Raw)

Then, during the match (PPV) HHH tells Reigns to make the right choice and fulfill his destiny, Reigns stops mid way between the match and just when it seems that Reigns is about to turn on Dean and Seth, he spears HHH, getting the pinfall and winning the match for the Shield and as HHH and Orton (with whoever) leaves the ring, Reigns takes the mic and standing side by side with Dean and Seth, says "I will fulfill my destiny, but I will do it MY WAY" *Cue major pop*

The night after the PPV, The Shield have a meeting in the ring and Rollins and Dean talk to Reigns, telling him how glad they are that he never turned on them and is a true friend/brother to them. That is when they tell Reigns that they think it is time that he breaks off from the Shield and makes his way as a singles competitor, saying that they always knew it was his destiny and they have no problems with him leaving and no matter what, they have his back. (This ends on a good note for the Shield, making them look strong and united. This allows Reigns to start his career as a singles competitor, whilst not making Rollins and Dean look weak)

Off the top of my head, what you guys think?

Also, if they go with idea 2, it could lead to major storylines when Vince comes back, using Reigns and Bryan (or only Reigns, depending on Bryan's popularity) as his spearheads to take back control of the company.

The Authority could make Bray as their spearhead, where the Authority gets worried as they realise they are losing control of the company and turn to Bray in desperation (imagine the mob turning to Joker in desperation against Batman and Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight)

This could be a huge, and I mean HUGE angle if this comes out right.

(Could be the remake of the ECW/WCW vs WWF thing or Civil Wars)

Both are good ideas. For the first idea the Shield could still remain faces and just kick Reigns out just want because they want him to succeed.

With Vince returning they can have Cena turn heel and join the authority. Bray makes Cena turn heel during their feud right now.

Vince and Bryan/Reigns/Ambrose/Rollins vs Triple H, Cena and Wyatts.

The important thing, is that it can't be rushed. This Vince HHH power struggle involving several main eventers should take span over 2 years with an excellent Wrestlemania moment to top it all off.

We noted before that David Benoit was scheduled to make his pro wrestling debut at a Hart Legacy event in July. The news was announced on Twitter by Smith Hart, Bret Hart's older brother. It turns out David has never formally trained to wrestle and Smith was trying to convince him to do the show thinking it would help draw ticket sales and drum up a lot of attention.

After word got out about David teaming with Chavo Guerrero on the show, Chris Jericho, who is close to David, contacted the Hart Legacy promotion and wasn't happy at all. Jericho was furious at the promotion for advertising David for a match because he hadn't been trained yet. Jericho was reportedly very mad and tried to get the match stopped. This led to Chavo Guerrero canceling his booking for the event.

Smith Hart reportedly told Chavo that David had some in-ring experience and would be fine for their match. Smith then reportedly told Jericho that they were never planning on having David wrestle and that he would just be doing some kind of angle. Smith reportedly told David that that he still wanted him in a match and tried to convince him that he could get through it without training. It's now said David's booking for the event may have been canceled altogether.

We noted before that David spent at least some time at Lance Storm's school in Canada. David actually enrolled in several training camps but never showed up on the first day and wasn't trained. David reportedly asked Triple H and William Regal about being a wrestler years ago and they told him to finish high school first and recommended Storm's school because it was near him.
