Bray wins after he threatens to do something to a kid.
That's a good idea, but wouldn't it be a bit too much Cena saying 'I quit' considering he never gives up?
Why would it be too much? It's not like he's saying it after a generic/clean ending. He's saying it because he has to save the kid.

PWInsider has confirmed rumors of a planned feud between Cody Rhodes and Goldust, with Cody as the heel. The idea is to do a short program between the two.

Cody is too generic and bland as a heel, he needs a gimmick. Until he gets one he isn't going any further than the tag division/midcard.

Agreed. What I don't understand is why Cody has to be the heel? Just because Goldust is getting old, doesn't mean he can't be a heel. Look at Triple H. I'm aware he feuded with the authority last year, but Goldust could join the authority or something as a heel.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that new WWE United States Champion Sheamus was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with Jorge "Sin Cara / Hunico" Arias at this week's WWE TV tapings in New York.
No other details are confirmed at this point except for that Arias got the better of Sheamus.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 14
The idea of giving WWE talents time off to recharge and heal up has been talked about as a strategy down the line.
The feeling right now is that may be a good thing but the weak roster depth doesn't allow it. There is concern right now about the idea of consistently running shows without either John Cena or Daniel Bryan as the advertised headliner.

WWE reportedly called Chris Jericho this past week to see about making a return. He told them he had too many schedule commitments on other projects to come back right now.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 14
A new edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided some backstage information on which WWE superstars are about to get pushed heavily. The report claims WWE has made some significant changes to their creative and merchandise plans going forward in 2014.
Originally, Randy Orton was slated to turn face following WrestleMania XXX, which is why the Authority were being āheelishā towards him, even though they had initially made him into the āface of the company.ā Plans were to push him as a babyface and pit him against the Authority while Batista and Daniel Bryan fought for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. When everything changed in this aspect, plans to turn Orton got scrapped as well.
Moving forward, WWE is wanting to push John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, and Sheamus as their top four babyfaces. Although Sheamus is teasing a possible heel turn at the moment, as of the week of May 4, heās listed as a major face. The other major āfaceā players for the next couple of months are The Shield and Rob Van Dam.
As we previously reported, The Shield are not going to be separating in the next few months and will be booked strongly as a face team. This means the original plan of a babyface singles push for Roman Reigns this Summer has been buried for the time being.
The notable name on the babyface list is Cesaro. At the moment, heās paired up with the biggest heel in the company, Paul Heyman. However, as we reported prior, the company will not be turning Cesaro face, but will rather use his association with Heyman to ultimately launch Cesaro as their third ātop name talent.ā
Current plans for the King of Swingās push involve Cesaro facing Brock Lesnar as early as SummerSlam, which takes place in August. While this is the projected timeline currently, WWE plans creative angles like these out with months in mind, not days, although sometimes they have to make swift changes from hour to hour depending on the situation.

John Cena was kept off Monday's RAW so they could push his appearance on the WWE Network's Main Event. WWE's #1 goal right now is to hit 1 million Network subscribers and the idea was that putting Cena on Main Event would raise the profile of that show and might encourage new subscribers.

We noted earlier via The Wrestling Observer that Sheamus and Sin Cara were involved in a physical altercation while backstage at this week's WWE TV tapings. The only details that were available were that Cara got the best of Sheamus. The WWE United States Champion responded to the report on Twitter tonight:
"Must be getting punchy. Don't remember being beaten up by Sin Cara backstage... It's just how Mexicans & we Irishmen hug it out fella ; )"

WWE has changed their mind regarding plans to break up The Shield. Apparently they won't be going through with the break-up plans any time soon.

If they ever do break up, how should it work? Would Reigns be the face?

Maybe. But Reigns needs a gimmick and heels usually have more freedom. So he could possibly align with the authority and build up a character.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 14
Best not be a generic 'I am the best in the shield' break up which ends up in a triple threat. That would only lead one to get a push while the other 2 to go astray.
It should be something shocking. Like two out of three plan to join the authority again and betray the 3rd member.
If not then they should just say that they all need to go separate to chase the WHC and that way they can still occasionally team up.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 14
It needs to be done the way it was done with Randy Orton and Batista in some extent, a push without anyone getting buried, since all 3 members has ME potential. I enjoy watching all of them, and they're pretty over.

Individually non of them are good enough for the title. It's only as a group they have a gimmick. They need to start from the midcard, build up a character and only then they'll be good enough.
