Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
Di Marzio wrote:It appears that Carlo Ancelotti's days at Real Madrid are numbered despite winning la Decima just a year ago. As reported by Sky Sport's Alessandro Alciato, there is an expected phone call between president Florentino Perez and the Italian coach that will take place on Sunday, Ancelotti is expected to be informed that he'll be sacked. There are many options for the former Milan coach including taking a year off to evaluate better his next career move.
Ancelotti will leave for Vancouver after the season where he'll spend a few weeks, he could also decide to take over a team next season: while Milan remains an almost impossible destination there is the possibility that Luis Enrique could leave Barcelona despite having a chance at a treble (Ancelotti would be reunited with Braida at the blaugrana). There is also Bayern Munich who would consider him should Pep Guardiola leave. What about Manchester City? There have been contacts with the Italian coach but it appears the Citizens have received a promise from Guardiola to join them in 2016. Ancelotti is focused on the future which appears to be away from Madrid.
Hmm interesting

I like the fact that Carlo can be a centre of attraction for many players, i do not like the fact that it is Carlo.
But hey, if he can manage to get Verratti (pipe dream, i know) then....

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
Pep Guardiola has agreed to become manager of Manchester City in 2016 according to Di GOATzio.
Probably true that he will leave in 2016. He'll make 1 final attempt with Bayern to win the CL and then call it a day there I guess. Would be surprised if he went to City though. Don't think he has the balls to take on a not so stacked team and compete against Mourinho who is established in the Premier League.

It's ok, you won't have to worry about Coachessi for much longer, Pep will take him to City.

tbh,
KNS will be better than MSN ever was.
Plus Yes Mancelotti will do nothing but play the three, so every team feels their wrath.

3 outlets: Laudisa, Marchetti and Di Marzio claim that Carlo is as good as gone.
-Marchetti says that Carlo is likely to take a sabbatical year rather than continue coaching, however, if Milan's offer is lucrative enough he may consider otherwise
Pedulla nowhere to be see as per

Thomas Schaaf stepped down from his job at Eintracht Frankfurt today.
I wonder if this is related to Schalke looking for a new coach...

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
Ralf Rangnick will become RB Leipzig coach/manager on top of his function as director of sports
http://www.dierotenbullen.com/neuigkeiten/Saison_2014_15/Rangnick-Trainerposten.html
They couldn't get Tuchel and neither Gisdol, now Rangnick needs to do it himself.
This double function is meant to last for one year, for now.
Thorsten Fink is the new trainer-coach of FK Austria Wien - 2 year contract

Spartak Moscow sacked Murat Yakin (former FC Basel coach) after only 1 season. I'm curious where he will go now.

Wouldn't mind Yakin at Milan incidentally, not that we'll even look at him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him pop up in Germany when an opening arises.

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
Well, currently there are some openings in Germany, but I wonder if they will actually look at Murat Yakin. He was pretty successful at Basel, but there he was sacked for the same reason that Schalke sacked Jens Keller - they didn't like his style even though he brought results.
