I doubt it's true, but if he does join can someone tell me more about his playing style?

From what I've watched of Sevilla this season, he plays a counter attacking style and relies on set pieces a fair bit hmm

Emery's playing style with Sevilla is cautious, sometimes overly so, and predominantly counter-attacking. He liked to use a very defensive double pivot of Carrico and Mbia and relied a lot on Rakitic for creativity. Occasionally he used full backs as wingers for added protection and he's got an annoying tendency to play a 4-4-2 when things don't quite go to plan, regardless of whether 4-4-2 works with the team or not. Also likes to tinker with his starting eleven and can be a bit slow to react to certain situations. Passing style tends to be mixed.

Honestly, the things he did well at Sevilla weren't tactics or getting them to play nice football, but taking a squad with about 11 or 12 new players, unifying them and creating a good team spirit, as well as improving the form of the players that were there originally.

I personally admire Lennon as a manager. Yet he's made it clear than he isn't a tactician with attention to detail or revolution in semantic as a whole. Yet Lennon must be appreciated for his strengths, to which caused Celtic to be a side punching above their weight within the Champions League and dominating what is an overlooked Scottish league improved thinly throughout all teams. The amount of fervour and zest he brings within the players to fight versus all odds as if they're reliving the Davidian Revolution is a fantastic feat. Yes these exercises and mental buffers are short-term and eventually lead to the burnout of squad and manager yet there is no doubting the excellent run he had within a team who have performed very well on both stages.

Yes he is a despicable character with the composure than makes Unai Emery look like Del Bosque yet I'm speaking purely as a manager.

And we have seen managers like these work well within the Premiership in this generation.

Why should he deserve criticism of being out of his depth when managers such as Allardyce, Lambert, Hughes and even worse predecessors have acclaimed praise for similar success in projects much smaller?

I would not rule him out.

Southampton might be in a bit of trouble if / when their manager leaves, that's only going to push the star players out. Pochettino was able to come in and pretty much had the team laid out for him, whoever replaces him has a much more difficult task ahead of him.

I also don't think that Pochettino is the manager that's going to bring CL football to Tottenham.

AC Milan are set to replace coach Clarence Seedorf with the Dutchman's former team-mate Filippo Inzaghi, Goal has learned.

The former Netherlands international took over at San Siro in January following the sacking of Massimiliano Allegri and delivered the club to an eighth-placed finish in Serie A.

However, he has not done enough to keep his job after the relationship between coach and board deteriorated during his five-month spell.

Milan have been searching for a replacement, but have been put off their pusuit of Sevilla coach Unai Emery due to the high costs involved.

Club management figures, including owner Silvio Berlusconi and CEO Adriano Galliani, met on Monday afternoon and have decided that Inzaghi is the only viable candidate to train the team next season.

The 40-year-old enjoyed a glittering 11-year spell at the Giuseppe Meazza, winning Serie A and the Champions League twice apiece.

Since his retirement in 2012, he has been in charge of the club's Primavera side and has long been seen as a future coach for the full team.

Berlusconi and Galliani are expected to inform the former Italy of their decision to promote him imminently.

It's just lolworthy is Inzaghi will replace Seedorf. I would understand someone with a record to replace Clarence, but replacing inexperience with inexperience... lol. Where's the logic in that?

Btw, sorry if stupid question, but what exactly is Sky Italia? I've been seeing this for some time now and assuming it's Sky Sports' Italian branch... so, is it?

I mean, I haven't seen Sky Germany, or Sky Spain or anything else like that.

I think it has to do with a combination of factors, mostly political.

He doesn't want to be B&G's puppet.

Gallaini didn't want him from the start, he wanted Inzaghi.

As soon as Sedorf was appointed, when media asked Galliani and Barbara on there thoughts, they just said 'Mr. President picked him.'

Berlu was really mad after we lost against Atletico. He said: ''I can't believe that we lost 4-1 to a team that doesn't even match half of our wage budget.''

Then there was complaints about Seedorf's professionalism:

The leader of the Ultras and Seedorf had talks, after Milans 5 game losing streak. Seedorf 'supposedly' told him that 3/4 squad is crap and that the dressing room is divided.

Seedorf held a press conference without asking for permission.

And Berlu recently complained about the teams crappy playing style. It's funny because the players were starting to gel and played some nice footy against Atletico and Juve even though we lost. Seedorf had to shift to a counter attacking style, because our players stamina was too low to play the way Seedorf wanted. And there was pressure to get results after a 5 game losing streak, where Seedorf's job was on the line apparently, so he knew he couldn't wait for the team to gel.

These are all the reasons that we know, but I'm sure there must have been something that occurred behind the scenes, that really ticked off B&G though.

Doesn't matter though, Seedorf will get 10M Cool

Looks like Inzaghi didn't get the memo of what happened to Leonardo and now Seedorf.
