Why does Madrid get to not play this weekend but Atleti does? Don't they need the rest too?

Because, as you probably know, Atletico chose to play their game even when the Spanish FA gave the same consideration they did with Real.

Both Real and Atleti were given a choice whether to play this weekends game, Atleti said yes but we said no. If remember correctly that matchday was empty for barca as well until they were eliminated

come on imagine playing copa final then three/four days later an away game and then three days later play bayern
