Important! Rules for Signatures

Friends, Romans, countrymen lend me your ears... Or rather: Dear users, lend me your eyes. While one or the other signature may be fine, by now it happened that some users created virtual monsters of signatures that threaten to blow up the forum and innocent computer and other monitors.

While some may say "well, then turn off signatures altogether" - this isn't the issue, as nice and modest signatures can be actually pretty cool. So the staff of the forum has come to the decision that we'd like you to stick to one single picture as signature. In that case, the forum software can do the work and resize it to an agreeable size and everything would be fine.

So that means please select one picture that you would like to display as signature and discard any further images. If you do not select the picture you want to keep yourself, the admins will do that for you and delete all pictures but one that you have in your signature.

By the way, if you want to display more than one picture, you can easily use a graphics program like GIMP (http://www.gimp.org - open source, thus free download) or Photoshop (commercial software) and merge the images together and display them as one picture.

So, now that you have been gently reminded in the post before, we will set a definite deadline to implement the signature limitations which you can read up in the post above this here.

Please modify your signature to be in accordance with the aforementioned rules until Sunday, 20 April 2014 at 23:59 GMT.

If we find your signatures to contain numerous pictures or to be too big in general, we shall take action accordingly.

What about those people with 5 tiny 'justice for GL smileys' signatures?

It's more about length, Beatrix.

So if they have lots of Little pictures, EG Devi, that is ok. More than one larger one is not so ok.

It's just to stop sigs from taking up a majority of the space per page.

Actually I would appreciate if you would choose either the smiley parade or the JPG. Or at least choose a JPG that is not as high.

If you look at it right now, you posted 1 line and it is set off by images that would make up maybe 15 or so lines, somehow that is pretty much overkill.
