I doubt the vision means anything, noone knows the end, so they can't authoritatively portent anything.

It does, they are talking about the 3 eyed raven, who that is and where he's telling Bran to go, even telling their viewers if he'll achieve to go where he's going and as far as I know they didn't tell these things in the show yet and they're also very clearly telling viewers not to continue to watch unless you've read the books.

In my opinion, you should read them all. They are fantastic books and the details and backstory presented are amazing. Some stuff are quite different from the show and it's much larger in scale like Robb's battles are not cut off like the show and Battle of Blackwater is much bigger. The third book is among the greatest books I have ever read in my life, should not skip that Versacci. Should not skip any of them.

No read the first 2 as well. You will completely get a different picture to a lot of the characters. As well as many historical facts of Westeros which they don't mention in the show.

For example Ser Davos is one of the best characters in the books imo but the show barely does any justice for him.

Stay away from the comments man. There are vile creatures on the internet who spoils it for everyone.

Joffrey's death was actually spoiled for me when I was new to GOT in season 1. However I have this mental thing where I can block out anything I want. So I completely forgot Joffrey actually died while reading the books Proud

That's why i get he same excitement while watching the TV Show because I try to forget I have read the books which makes it more dramatic.
