Can't wait for Gone Girl, Fincher is probably my favourite director after Scorsese, so I will def watch the premiere.

Just came back from Captain America 2
Fantastic movie. Probably the best Marvel film they have made. Film wasn't just about action or a straight forward plot. They really invested in the story and built it right. Very good directing, action sequence and acting.

Yea Arq. It sets up an introduction to Captain America. Was a good film on its own but it's better you watch it anyways.

Best MCU film ever imo, you should def watch it. It's the least cartoony marvel movie yet, still keeps the comic book elements that we love from Marvel.Arquitescu wrote:RG, would you recommend me to watch the first Captain America?

Never been a Johnny Depp fan (except Edward Scissorhands)M99 wrote:Disappointing reviews for Transcendence.
But I was hoping this movie would do good as it's Wally Pfister's directorial debut. And if some of you don't know, Pfister is a long time Nolan-collaborator.

Are you thinking of the second film? The first Cap film was definitely a bit more comic-esque than Cap2 or even arguably IM3.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Lol yeah, I'm sorry. The Real-Barca game apparently destroyed my reading comprehension. Will still say you don't need to watch the first. But it will definitely help you understand and relate to Cap more, than you would've if you don't see it.RedOranje wrote:Freeza wrote:Best MCU film ever imo, you should def watch it. Maybe it's because I watched IM3 on the plane, but it was probably the worst super hero movie by Marvel or DC or Sony. Would take X Men 3 over it.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Downloaded a bunch of korean movies due to the long term nagging of a friend. Glad I did, only seen a bittersweet life so far but it's one of the best crime movies period.

Got around to watching 12 Years A Slave today....excellent stuff from the ensemble cast. Dat whipping scene near the end
....that was almost as bad, if not worse, than what I saw in the Passion of the Christ.

Psh. You lads have some glaring omissions.
Blade 3
Daredevil
Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider 2
R.I.P.D.
And the single worst comic book movie since the turn of the millennium:
Catwoman

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Actually didn't think Daredevil Director's cut was that bad. Whatever was wrong with that film wasn't because of Affleck in any way. Affleck has also improved leaps and bounds as an actor since that movie, and is actually good to great as of now. I have no doubt he will nail the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne.
@Red
Never watched Ghost Rider and R.I.P.D, so can't comment on them. Lol I forgot Catwoman
worst piece of garbage I have ever watched.
Just watched the premiere of TASM2 and I really liked it, didn't think it was too overcrowded, only 2 villains in reality. Dane Dehaan was great as always. The movie focused much on the relationship between Gwen and Peter, which was necessary given the plot of the story. Really liked it. Not as good as CA2, but it's close and I probably enjoyed it equally due to Andrew Garfield's wit as Peter Parker.
