Bryan's being pushed as one of the top faces with Cena. He'll surpass Jericho's ranking. In fact with Cena taking a backseat and putting younger superstars over, Bryan will be the main face.

Punk was unlucky not to get that spot back in 2011/12, because Cena still main evented ahead of him without being champion, but the situation's changed now.

The 'face of the company' is made organically. It's not just 'oh he's 6ft5 300 pound, why don't we make him the face'?

Cena was over, became WWE champion, was the top face on RAW, beat top stars deservedly, worked hard outside of WWE and a few years later everyone recognised him as the face. Similar thing should happen with Bryan.

A person with knowledge of plans for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame noted to F4WOnline that Scott Hall is still on the list of this year's inductees following the announcement that Carlos Colon will be inducted.

Surpassed Jericho lolz.

MT quite clearly didn't watch much during 99-2004 lol.

Bryan could only dream of having matches like Jericho had against HBK at WM19 among many others.

Don't disrespect your sure fire hall of famers ffs and being one of the reasons you watch WWE in the first place.

I actually wish Jericho didn't come back and job for youngsters.... it was good of him to do so but now the newer generation has a different opinion of him than my generation did.

Bryan will surpass Jericho in terms of rank. He'll be more of a main guy than Jericho was. I didn't say Bryan has surpassed Jericho character wise.

We mentioned yesterday that this summer looks like it will be a big one for Daniel Bryan, but some backstage apparently want to take advantage of Batista's heel run to get another feud in between he and John Cena.

There are fairly strong rumors that WWE officials want to push Cena and Bryan as #1 and #2 in the company, but which is likely to get that rumored match against Batista at Summerslam still seems to be on the discussion table.

Yeh agree with that and I've said that before. But ever since Cena has been the face, no one has got the chance to take his main event spot. Now Cena's rumoured to be taking a backseat, working with up and coming superstars/not main eventing.

A new internal list was made this past week with the 5 names that WWE is projecting to be their 5 biggest Superstars going forward after WrestleMania XXX.

Those names are John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Roman Reigns. The biggest surprise is that Batista is not on the list.

WWE is planning on making a big push for merchandise based on four top names - Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior and Steve Austin.

With this merchandise push, WWE officials want these four at WrestleMania XXX. Obviously Hogan, Taker and Warrior are already booked but word is that they want to find a good storyline for Austin to have a non-wrestling role.

The idea of being there has been pitched to Austin but there's no word on any kind of deal yet.

As noted, CM Punk will be appearing on AMC's The Talking Dead this coming Sunday night - his first appearance since walking out of WWE last month. There is some bitterness within WWE towards Punk for appearing on the show.

There's a feeling backstage that if he could go to Los Angeles for that show, he could have at least came to RAW in his hometown of Chicago to talk to someone face to face.

There's also a feeling of uncertainty because nobody knows what Punk is going to say about his WWE status, if anything at all.

SeekingAlpha.com sent out a WWE alert this afternoon that says WWE stock spiked this afternoon in mid-day trading based on a rumor that AMC Networks is interested in buying WWE.
There's no word yet about the rumor of AMC being interested in buying WWE.

We know that WWE recently talked with AMC about their TV distribution but the note from SeekingAlpha.com is the first we've heard of AMC being interested in purchasing the company.

AMC would come up with some good storylines after the success of BB and TWD. hmm

can't see Vince ever selling the company. There would be no point tbh, he's old and already rich as hell, this is his baby. His legacy.

Sheamus..Meh, he isn't terrible on the mic but he's corny, he's decent in the ring, has a credible look..but I don't know, he's just uninteresting to me. Looking forward to him vs Christian at Mania but I don't want him being one of the top stars, would rather Bryan hold the title than him.

Yep, WWE clearly aren't investing any time making an actual mid-card rivalry

Usos feuding with NAO. How can we build this up? Aaah, got it! we'll have them fight twice a week for 2 months with absolutely no new events taking place.

Sheamus - Christian? I wonder how we can make this a credible rivalry. Aaaah! I know! Let's have them fight each other twice a week for 2 months.
