It's not that they don't know lol it's that they don't care.

What they do is successful and sells millions why should they bother to change it?

Pretty much that.

The hype is getting bigger and bigger. I mean it's been trending for 4 days now on twitter. Every one is getting it without any care how it is. EA are targeting more casuals this way too. It's basically becoming COD.

I can't claim to be any better because I buy it every year too, but it's really disappointing how they can manage to not change anything (if they chose to) or minimally (like they typically do) and still sell millions every year.

They have no real incentive for improvement, especially modes like career mode.

Just to clarify, I'm not unhappy with the game. I enjoyed FIFA 14 and got a lot of hours out of it, so no doubt I'll get a lot of hours out of a FIFA 14 with a shiny new coat of paint. It just shouldn't cost me a full £45. I guess the lesson here is to stop buying football games that aren't called Football Manager.

Of course, EA aren't pressured into drastically improving their game. PES doesn't out-sell them, and they know that so long as the hype machine keeps rolling, people won't stop buying FIFA. At my local GAME, there was a cue going out the door of people buying FIFA. You won't see that for PES or FM when they come out.

Imo they do care, otherwise they wouldn't go to the trouble of sticking pads on footballers and making them run etc for the game.

Plus they put in small features every year.

The problem is there's a lot of things missing that could be done in 1 year with the technology available nowadays. They need to go back to the drawing board, start watching real life football matches, look at everything in detail, then code the game.

Right now the gameplay isn't complete.

Of course and quite frankly that's why PES and FM are cheaper tbh. Does anybody really think PES would be 35 quid brand new on PS4 if it sold like FIFA? Same goes for FM and it's normal 20-25 quid range.

The solution is simple really, don't like it? Don't buy it. Do like it well if it provides you with entertainment then it's worth the price of admission.

FIFA is an elite game, everyone loves it and people will always eagerly await its release. It's just there's obvious things to improve/fix.

Maybe if they drastically improved the game more people would buy it? EA could entice FM fans by adding more depth to career mode. Make career mode more like a free roam type game and it could even interest non football fans.

Is it possible to use 'team sheets' that you create in the edit menus in seasons?

Also custom controller settings aren't saving.

Instructions that are set pre-match change back to default when the game starts.

There's no way to use custom tactics on clubs.

PES 2013 is the best PES i've played imo, PES 2012 comes close but it was a bit too easy in terms of scoring lol. If PES 2015 doesn't become the trainwreck that was 14, i'd ditch FIFA in a heartbeat.

I hope they revamp the tactical system. The standard one can stay, but they should bring in an advanced option. Teams nowadays play a lot of different shapes during the game.

You should be allowed to set up a formation/shape during different phases of the game.
1-When you have a goal kick, and you want to build from the back.

2- When the opposition have a goal kick and you want to press from the front.

3- When you're in your own half and defending. I want to play with a 4-4-2 while defending not 4-3-3.

4- When you're attacking and are in the opposition's half. (That's pretty much the standard formation).

5- attacking and defending shape during kick off.

6- The shape you want your team to have while transitioning to your defensive shape and offensive shape.

And you can enable the different shapes using the d-pad.

That's definitely something I'd like to see, would give the game more realism. I heard PES are implementing something similar, so I'm definitely going to check it out.

It is, it's wonderful really. Every single team has 3 separate formations (from kick off, in possession and without ball) really changes how the game is played.

I personally think it will make playing CPU really good this year, I'd be surprised if EA doesn't copy it eventually. It's a really great feature.

FIFA wingbacks in a 5 at the back formation - defend properly but don't attack.

Wingbacks in a 3 at the back - never defend, however attack.

Implementing attacking/defending shapes would fix that.

You can edit it to suit ur needs.

Oh and auction house doesn't show when a consumable card is expired/bought. I can go to page 7 and try buy 1 and it says it's expired ..

How the hell can this game have so many faults is beyond me

People going bezerk on ea forums over Fifa 15. Patch must come asap to fix the problems.

Just discovered that there's a new "personality" tab in player career mode, where you can change your free-kick style, penalty taking style and default celebrations.

Good to see EA include a feature that's been in PES since forever.

I just finished my 1st season in career mode and when you reach the performance schedule meeting thing, it asks you to press options to advance. Pressed it and the game froze, loaded up the game again and it froze again.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I'll tell you when I finish the season. Sounds dodgy.

Lost some coins and got it back after 5 mins. Now I lost 4k and it hasn't returned yet ffs.

So much trouble with the game..
