invaded Georgia in 2008,

Which was always the case with Biden, he was voted in to return to the pre-Trump "status quo", which this is very much aligned with.

Biden is a totally uninspiring president, but at least he hasn't come across as weak in this crisis, imo.

If they respond with guns blazing it could be an excuse for Russia to go further

If he really wanted to invade Ukraine he would do so by surprise. I think he is very happy with the diplomatic mess he's creating

His scorn towards Lenin always emerges (Ukraina is the Lenin's creation), him and Bolshevik are seen as the traitors who dismembered the " Great Russia "(Bret Litovsk 18) while , on the contrary, Stalin in his vision makes part of those statesmen who made Russia a great country on par with Peter II and Alexander I. in addition to being the hero of "Great Patriotic War ( as Russian call the 2nd WW)

Historically Russia always want buffer states around itself, they are re-proposing their centuries-old scheme.
Russia gets buffer states ( Donetsk and Luhansk in Eastern Ukrain)  and at same time Ukrain can get closer to Europe?
