Re: Olympiakos 2-0 Manchester United
Arq that is not happening. A draw is the best united can hope for.
We are shambles...and its because gollum picked a team that can't create fck all. Where are we gonna get our goal from?
The best hope is a set piece.
Shambles. We're treating olym like they're barcelona.
Fuming here

Still think they'll scrape a draw or a narrow win.

Moyes has had a shocker in this one, the manner in which Yanited approached the game its as if Olympiacos were actually a good team

Never thought this would happen.
Seems like Olympiakos don't miss Mitroglou, ATM. Glad to see Chori is doing good though.
Seriously Olympuiakos are "bad"? Geez

Anyway a result not so surprising, the usual passive Manchester United of Moyes, it's sufficient to meet a squad with great pace to put them in difficulty . No reaction.

Re: Olympiakos 2-0 Manchester United
RED, Olympiakos' extremely deep line and tendency to absorb pressure will eventually succumb to United's deft front 3/4 to which is made easier by all the space given. I cannot see Olympiakos holding out as despite their excellently organized defence (kudos to their manager) individually they are prone to mistakes.
2nd half surely cannot go as badly as the first as the toned down momentum should work in United's favour. A win for United or at least a draw still on the cards for me, prediction.
Olympiakos are quite underrated by the way and highly respected by tactical observers as I wouldn't find any shame in losing to them in spite of the expectations and United's ambition.
Mitroglou a big loss for them though.

They are alright but Moyes set up his team to play a more restrictive game when they have better players all over the pitch.

Jesus, I havent watched Man U for a while, but they have become just so shit for real LOL! Their midfield is terrible and getting owned. VP is getting no service, not sure what the wingers are doing, and the defense struggling

I enjoy watching this Olympiakos team, they've improved so much since they faced Arsenal in the past 2-3 seasons.

It is quite an managerial achievement to set up a team as uninspiring and negative and yet so defensively weak as Utd.

They are doing well in the middle third because Yanited have no midfield, sit deep and don't put any pressure at all. In the final third Olympiakos aren't really creating much though.
As I said, it's weird. They are doing kinda well although you can feel they shouldn't be doing well.
Whatever. Moysie.

Re: Olympiakos 2-0 Manchester United
I thought Olympiacos would be lost without Mitroglu, but they seem to have some pretty tidy players in their squad. Hernan Perez is causing Smalling problems Campbell is doing the same on the other side and the back four are holding a pretty good shape

I think it's worth mentioning that Olympiakos' home form is ridiculously good. It may not count for much when put into context but when players have a winning mentality it does make a difference even if the quality is not quite there.

"Olympiakos at home is not a team to be messed with" seems to be the highlight here.

There is a 20 point gap between Olimpiakos and the 2nd placed team in Greece. Clearly not a scrub team.
