I watched a Walken movie last night, "The Dead Zone"...man, Walken is so creepy looking it's scary...always plays similar roles in all his movies though. I fear for Giru though...Dante has his faults, but Giru is the exact kind of forward style-wise I expect Dante to dominate.

I'm hoping for an Arsenal victory just so Barca don't have to face Bayern. Ribery is not fit to play this match so Arsenal should take full advantage of this fact. Even then though I can't see Arsenal keeping a clean sheet.

Mandz rather than gotze in the middle for sure. That being said he is going to be dangerous wherever he'll play.

I seriously don't see Bayern losing this tie.

I'm not entirely sure, really. I'm leaning towards wanting Mandzukic to start because it enables Koscielny to mark a more orthodox centre forward, whereas with a false nine he'll look to step out of defense and be aggressive and that just worries me.

But then, I remember against Barcelona (the 2-1) he tried to get very tight to Messi all evening, even following him to the halfway line at times and it worked to an extent, even though it scared the life out of me every time.

Looking at it another way, I'd prefer Mandzukic since it'd mean one less midfielder in the Bayern side.

The fear when playing Mandzukic however is that he is a problem which requires attention. So a CB is slower to come out and close down things on the edge of the box.

Guys like Kroos thrive in that space, Robben also coming inside from the flank.

Obviously there is no ideal line up you are happy to see when Bayern play.

Muller always steps up in the big games so I think he's slightly a better option. Plus he can constantly swap positions with Gotze when attacking. If Bayern don't get anywhere when attacking, they can always sub on Mandzukic to provide something different.

I just hope the Ox and Poldi start, they've proven to be the ONLY goal scoring threat in the absence of Walcott and Ramsey
