After the last game and how it spanned out i guess for our games against Arsenal stats are not of much consequence

Well argue all as we may but despite me being mostly optimistic in most cases. Can't say i feel the same for Aspas. But i would love it if he can prove me wrong

LFC team vs Arsenal: Jones, Flanagan, Skrtel, Agger, Cissokho, Gerrard, Allen, Coutinho, Suarez, Sterling, Sturridge.
LFC Subs vs Arsenal: Mignolet, Toure, Moses, Henderson, Kelly, Aspas, Teixeira.
Henderson needed the break and great to see Teixeria holds on to his spot as sub!

I'm pleased with the line-up, I hope Teixeira gets his minutes in the 2nd half

yeah someone had to make place for someone, I wish to take this game lightly because they are starting a decent team and I think the key is to defend, BR has already said in the interview that he would take 1-0 score instead of what we did to them at Anfield

Happy with the line-up, Jones deserves his start and Henderson his rest.
Arsenal's team doesn't exactly strike me with fear, but still well capable of beating us. Got to stay concentrated.

Oh wow. Would be great....
Manc City get another home draw, against Wigan

Well, we know what happened in last season's final...
Btw, a draw from this game wouldn't be that bad, would give Arsenal one more game to worry about.

Started lively, played for the first 10 minutes, didn't take our chance(s) and well, we look out of it now.
We're playing Arsenal's game and bar a few individuals, Arsenal don't even look they want to play this game. Disappointing I must say.
Also, not sure if we rushed Agger back or not but he's not really in the game. Headed the ball to a dangerous position that landed straight to Ozil, then went ball watching and didn't close down the space between the Ox and the goal.

the initial five minutes was the only time when we produced something substantial, otherwise we are not able to play our game. It seems difficult

Not just that either, tbh.
Allen needs to play possession or he becomes very limited. He needs to help Gerrard out defensively, because we're getting overrun on the counter and we can't afford to let Coutinho/Gerrard to get a second yellow.

yes it was surprising the amount of space which was available in the middle for them and in fact Coutinho is coming back few times but Allen seems to be playing like luxury AM

I thought we did OK in the first-half, had the better chances than Arsenal put couldn't put them away. We were a bit unlucky to concede that goal, but should've cleared sooner. If we keep up what we were doing in the first-half I'm confident we'll score.
Ps. Flanagan is not good enough, having another bad game.

Need to somehow get an early goal and unsettle them... we'll overrun them if we do. They're playing like they have 2 eyes on Bayern right now yet are in the lead....

Re: Arsenal vs Liverpool / FA Cup 5th Round / 16th Feb
Teams a joke when SAS aren't firing, really.
When they don't score, no one else can. Arsenal were there for the taking. They lost their heads in the second half, especially when we pulled 1 back. Argh.
We should of had another penalty, that Ox challenge was RIGHT INFRONT OF WEBB and he absolutely bottled it.
Bottled to send Gerrard off too, to be fair. But the circumstances would of been different if it was 2-2.

Sturridge couldn't buy a goal today if they were free, FML thought that agger header went in. BS call suarez should of had a second peno, webb too much if a bitch to give 2 penos in 1 game.

F*ck Webb. The second foul was even more of a pen then the one he gave us.
Sturridge missed too many f*ckin chances. Also f*ck these cup draws. Get frickin United at Old Trafford and Arsenal at Emirates. C*nts wouldn't give us a home game against a top side if their lives depended on it.
Would prefered getting thrashed then losing like this and being by far the better side with better chances, and getting f*cked over by the ref.
