Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
I always liked Wiese a lot, and I feel kind of bad becaus I have to confess I personally am responsible in some part for his demise
When Wiese joined Hoffenheim, the first competitive game he played for them was the first Pokal round against my local 4th division club BAK, in the Poststadium near where I live. Used to be Berlin's biggest stadium in the early thirties, before the Olympiastadion was built; now it's pictoresquely overgrown and half covered by trees - beautiful.
Hoffenheim had about 100 fans traveling, and they had a big banner saying "To a great season" lol.
Then they lost 4:0 against us in an epic, unforgettable, historic thrashing.
Wiese got duped for the first goal, and then right after half time he made a blunder for the 4:0, so we spent the whole second half chanting and singing his name and ridiculing him.
He was never the same after that day
Also that loss meant the beginning of the end of Markus Babbel's managerial career, thus far - he was fired a few months later and hasn't coached since

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
I know Bayern are dedicated to the destruction of their competition Hans but that's taking it too far.

I swear around the 9 minute mark I heard 'Eren Derdiyok with the nachos!'
Also, Buyern are buying fans from Berlin now
