I don't understand either.
@Red Alert- that was Redknapp in 2011-2012. Spurs last season with AVB finished 5th with 72 points, one point behind Arsenal. Flopped like usual though, dropping stupid points to the likes of Wigan late in the season. As for your next point, I agree. Levy didn't, it's too bad.
Anyway, I like Laudrup, though I don't rate him as highly as some, I don't think he's a scrub either. Disagree with this sacking- yes the team hasn't been doing well, but they aren't going to get relegated, and it's not exactly Laudrup's fault. I do not know some of the motives behind the sacking that aren't known to the public, which I feel are playing a role here, however I think Swansea really should have stuck with him until the end of the season, especially considering how well they did last season.

Re: Michael Laudrup gets the boot
My mistake, confused the seasons. Thanks for correcting me.
Still, don't think he did too bad in his debut season though. He managed Spurs ffs.

In your warped, twisted little mind maybe.
But in reality he got credit for the job he did.... like taking Swansea to their highest ever PL finish and the only trophy in their history and navigating them through a group stage this season which included Valencia.
They have struggled this season due to a lot of injuries and not having a big enough squad to deal with 3 competitions at once.
Anything else is just usual stupidity/agenda driven crap from your good self.

Swansea eye Brighton manager Oscar Garcia
Swansea are keen to see Brighton manager Oscar Garcia replace Michael Laudrup as manager at the Liberty Stadium.

Re: Michael Laudrup gets the boot
Laudrup just talked to the media. Says he was fired without even being given a reason, as to why he was sacked. He was then banned from all facilities so he could not say goodbye to the players.
Laudrup is devastated at the moment. Really lost a lot of respect for Swansea.

He is considering legal action, too.
What a stupid thing to do by Swansea.

Marcelo Bielsa linked with Swansea job. Premier League then would have Wenger, Mourinho, Rodgers, Pellegrini, Mel, Pocchetino, Bielsa and Pardew as managers.

I see no point of trying to employ Bielsa. Hes philosophy is too similar too laudrup as in all flair but fails to get results for good of the club.

GOAT league.
Still, Swansea They were right where they should be considering the standouts from last season aren't performing/injured. Michu, Dyer, Routledge, were all GOAT last season. Plus Ki had a falling out with Laudrupp etc, so they loaned him out, and he's been terrific.

Re: Michael Laudrup gets the boot
Bielsa would probably play an extreme style of what Laudrup played.
