A corner is not considered a set piece? (ie is that 38% part of the 48% or are the separate items?)

They are separate. Together they account for 86% of your total goals conceded.

Happy with the win and score obviously. Although I cant say I feel happy.

We didnt exactly click all round, bits and pieces were good. Our defense were really tested but we still conceded and gave chances. IT shouldnt be since Almeria was very poor.

Puyol back is a big plus, and love watching his spirit and goal!!! We need him, hopefully he can be back to his best!

Neymar looked trying too hard and unsure, so I hope he settles too.

Others look ok, but we need to be more clinical as well.

Just 1 point behind Real....

Oh there is not doubt that Atleti do not have the money that Barca or Madrid have, but they are poor either. Would a poor team pay €50m on a player that technically speaking is not their's?

Again, I think you're completely misunderstanding the intention and meaning behind his comments.

I don't think so. He is saying that they have alot of cred to be able to fight against Barca and Real Madrid because they don't have same amount of money, which is fair enough. But some of atleti players/staff are taking it to far. Like when Cholo said that they were the team of the people.

Yes, the have a lot less money than the big two, but they are still the 3rd richest team in Spain IIRC.

As oppose to a club that arrogantly announces "Més que un club" when it and its star player are shameful tax avoiders?

You can laugh, but RM are just as bent. Need you be reminded of the sale of Ciudad Deportiva?

You can laugh, but RM are just as bent. Need you be reminded of the sale of Ciudad Deportiva?

By the end of the 20th century the land surrounding the Ciudad Deportiva was no longer on the outskirts of Madrid, but had become a transportation hub with the north of the city and a financial area. Its location along the Castellana further increased the land's value. With Real Madrid's debts mounting in the late 1990s, plans to re-zone and commercially develop the land were mooted several times, but it wasn't until the presidency of Florentino Pérez that these plans came to fruition.
Although commonly believed to be a direct transaction in which Real Madrid sold the land to the Madrid city council, this is not in fact what happened. In 2000 there was a motion proposed, voted on, and approved in the Madrid parliament to re-zone the area of the Ciudad Deportiva, which until then was zoned for non-commercial purposes. In this vote, the Partido Popular (People's Party) and the Izquierda Unida (United Left) voted in favor, the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) voting against.
The agreement between Real Madrid and the local government stipulated that in exchange for re-zoning the land Real Madrid would cede a portion of the land to the Government. Then, in public project bids, both Real Madrid and the Government sold their portions to four corporations, Repsol YPF, Mutua Automovilística de Madrid, Sacyr Vallehermoso and Obrascón Huarte Lain (OHL), for which Real Madrid earned an estimated 480 million euros. These four corporations are, as of August 2006, constructing four skyscrapers on the site which will become their headquarters as part of the Cuatro Torres Business Area. The government also gained land which they sold in public bidding, and a large amount of greenspace.
Although unnamed clubs requested that the European Union investigate the transaction, the EU found no wrongdoing or evidence of state subsidies.

What was wrong with that sale??

Just want to get everyone's opinion on Diego now that he seems back at Atletico, he seems to fit the club, some players are like that, just seem to suit a club for some reason. Hes a strange one to me, as he is inconsistently and often fail to live up to his promise and not quite at the top level or am I wrong?

I thought Malaga played very well, but their front is a problem, they had a lot of the ball but just lack quality up front, finishing and final passes were so poor. They did well to match Real for most part.

I think the title is Real's now, even away in a game like this they still win without too much trouble. Cant see them dropping much points with the remainder of fixtures Sad

My thoughts exactly. We were very careless with the ball and kept hoofing it every time we got it. We don't have a good target man besides Morata who can't seem to ge minutes under Carlo so I don't understand the long balls. We missed so many clear cgances though so if we had drawn I would've blamed it on us and not anyone else

Pepe was immense, Varane was quite good as well.

Not our best game but hey keeping the difference between us and Barca at 4 points was priority number 1.

Understandable though since he probably isn't fully fit. Hopefully he can get back to previous form.

Pepe/Ramos will start the Clasico.
