Not by any means, and I don't think our success hinges on a signing, but I think it would help a lot.

Think it's best to just wait 24 hours and worry about/enjoy what we've done/haven't done then.

I guess it's fair enough for Wenger that he rates Draxler, just not at 45€, but at the same time he can't really expect Schalke to sell him for less than the transfer clause, in mid season.

We can't definitively say that without knowing what the actual asking price was. We've been led to believe it was £37mil but Draxler's release clause is only active in the summer, so Schalke were free to ask for a substantially higher price. They probably did; they're hardly going to ask for less, are they?

In any case, not getting him in the summer wouldn't be a major disappointment for me, either. Getting a striker is much more important.

Guys there is no point being disappointed or angry. Read what Jay is saying. There is nothing more to think or add into this.

Draxler was ALWAYS a luxury. If we were close to buying Falcao and the deal would have broken off then that was the perfect reason to moan and be angry about.

Believe in the team.

That's true, however haven't hear many reports that they did. But who knows with this ridiculous media

We don't need draxler now though, but I'd like to see a warm body brought in no matter the cost. We just need some more depth. A defender and a forward would be fantastic, who they are almost doesn't matter.

Still think we can win the league. We are way above where I expected us to be at this point in the year.

With one point behind man city and we play them at home ball is still in our court

That's the spirit. What's more, Falcao's now out with cruciate ligament damage, so even missing out on HIM wouldn't have been THAT bad Wink

Arsenal are very, very thin and the "money" part of the schedule is coming... don't need to sign superstars. But signing decent enough players for depth and diversity would be a very good idea. Some of the players are logging waaaay too many games and minutes. There are obvious sign of burnout showing.

I'd take Klose. If he's okay with not being a starter, getting him wouldn't really affect our ability to sign someone new in the summer - sell Bendtner and Park, loan Sanogo, bring in Klose and a star striker and we're set to go.
