I think the reason why Henderson has gone a bit quiet lies in two things:

1. We have four more attacking players ahead of him on the pitch and we've been playing a lot of counter attacks lately. He is in the 2 in that 4-2-3-1 and is required to stay back a bit more. I have no complains about his performances in our half of the pitch.

2. Our current full-backs don't really support our possession play that much. Full-backs who are safe and sound on the ball make life easier for CMs and although Cissokho and Flanagan have done pretty fine lately, they are average at best with the ball at their feet.


Our next away game will be against Fulham. Although Coutinho is the better footballer out of the two, I might drop him for Allen in order to gain a more patient approach to that game. We were never settled against West Brom.
