It sounds false to me, Milan surely can't and wouldn't drop 25+M on a young attacker with so, so many holes in the squad and not enough money to fill them.
It's gotta be legit since so many reputable and not reputable sources are reporting this. Galliani always spends big on attack even when defence and midfield is in more dire need of reinforcements.

Genoa’s Vrsaljko is now closer to Milan
Sime Vrsaljko is becoming a concrete option for Milan. After the inquires of the past weeks, rossoneri are moving seriously to acquire the Genoa’s fullback. The negotiation is progressing quickly, they overtook Sassuolo and Juventus in the race to sign him. The parties are close, they could define the transfer next week. Milan are looking to add the energy of Vrsaljko to their roster.

He'd be a great purchase imo, haven't seen much of him in Serie A. But i did see him in the WC, and i think he played well, he's young as well.
If we do get him, i think that might seal Abate's fate.

Milan and Genoa reach agreement on Matri and Vrsaljko
Genoa and Milan have completed yet another deal: Vrsaljko will join Milan, while Matri will go to Genoa. The operation is concluded, they shook hands this morning at Forte dei Marmi. Only the final okay from Preziosi is missing, which should arrive on Monday night. After that, they will put pen to paper, probably on Thursday. Matri will join Genoa on year-long loan, replacing Gilardino. They still haven’t decided the formula of Sime Vrsaljko’s transfer and the wages of the two players, the clubs will talk with the agents. Matri and Vrsaljko will swap jersey.

I knew Iturbe was too good to be true, I am even amazed an Italian club at all can keep him in Serie A. I guess all the oil clubs have too many players to count atm

Torino want around 20m for Cerci, so hopefully this means we have a look at Antoine Griezmann - although my concern is that he predominantly plays on the left (SES' position).

Vrsaljko is great great player he has huge potential and in 1-2 season he will go to the EPL or La Liga if Serie A doesn't progress and make a step ahead

Valencia have accepted Milan's €4.25m offer (Rami paid €0.5m). The deal should be made official tomorrow.

Valencia now want the €4.25m for Rami immediately. Yesterday, the parties had agreed that the amount was going to be paid in 3 installments.
This better not fall apart!

Whilst it's disappointing to hear Galliani claim we're no longer after Vrsaljko, he consistently claims not to be after players he signs soon after. My concern would be that he finds another offer more tempting, such as at Juventus or Fiorentina. If it comes down to the fee which Genoa demand, we'll attempt to low ball them then settle for shipping off a couple of youth players as usual. I personally think he'll end up finding other offers more tempting though, but we're not out of the race until he signs for someone else.

Gazzetto dello Sport are suggesting that Milan will offer Abate in a straight swap for Criscito. Given Zenit's past interest in Ignazio it might be possible I imagine, though I suspect they'll want a small cash fee in addition if they are indeed interested. Criscito's suffered very damaging knee injuries in past years however I would still have him at the club.

Not so sure about that one, can't see him doing a Rami and paying half the transfer fee out of his own pocket

The valuation is in our favour though. Juventus will be advertising a 35 year old player, so that's 33 in everyone else's years.
It's all about who Milan get for Sulley 'Xavi' Muntari though. Allegri rates him at around 25 million which is Galliani's price for Tevez.
