Too funny not to post.

---------------------------------------
Tuttosport claims Mario Balotelli could be bought from Milan by a financial institution and loaned to Juventus.

The striker is reconsidering his future after a dismal World Cup campaign and the waves of criticism he received.

Milan joint-CEO Barbara Berlusconi declared Balo was “not indispensable,” fuelling reports of a summer exit from his club.

According to Tuttosport, the answer could lie in a revolutionary tactic for Italian football, albeit one often used in South America.

Agent Mino Raiola would buy Balotelli’s contract with the aid of a financial institution and then loan the player to Juventus.

It is hoped that here he would mature and increase his value.

Tuttosport claims Raiola already met with Juve directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici in Milan on Friday.

However, the same paper also adds that Coach Antonio Conte is not happy with the idea, as he doesn’t feel Balotelli will fit into his hard-working team ethic.

There could also be problems with the ‘senators’ of the Italy squad, above all Gigi Buffon, who don’t want Balotelli bringing his poor attitude to the Juve locker room as well.

Tuttosport. rofl They just get better and better. Proud

Also ESPN are reporting that Kaka has made his decision to leave Milan and commit to the Orlando/Sao Paolo idea, hopefully true.

Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting on his website that we're negotiating with the agent of Roman Eremenko from Rubin Kazan as a vice-Montolivo.

Not exactly the calibre of player I had in mind.

4-3-3 is the expectation, however it is my belief that in order to do so we require greater depth on the flanks, even if we do sign Iturbe. This season we were effectively crippled by the injury to El Shaarawy and the failure to replace Boateng with another player capable of fulfilling that RW role. I'd personally like to see another young winger arrive capable of playing on either side, however it's a bit too much to ask for in all likelihood given the trouble we will have in reducing the deadwood.

Yeah Kaka left us for Orlando...i don't really know what to feel here... Kaka was always one of my favourite players ...For his behavior on and of the pitch... but sadly injuries took their toll... last season he wasn't that bad as most people said he was...so this is ok only if berlo decides finally to spend some money...cause it hurts seeing this milan.... For iturbe i don't know...he isn't a bad player but i still think he is overpriced....but i hope i am wrong... anyways i am still expecting more transfers cause this is not enough...

I hope so. From an earlier post in this thread:

Forza wrote:For me, Kaka's departure is necessary if this team is to move on. We simply cannot build a team around him because he's not in his prime any more. Nor does this team need someone in the TQ position. I think that if we play in a 4-3-3, this team will improve greatly. We already have most of the players to do it.

Balo
SES ------------ Menez
??? ------ Poli
De Jong
MDS - Rami - Alex - Abate
Abbiati

Obviously, I'd rather have better players than Menez, Alex and Abbiati in those positions, and Abate will need to lift his game this season too, BUT that set-up will go a long way to ameliorating the weaknesses in our current team. The huge gap is in Montolivo's position. We need to get someone of the highest quality in that spot.

Kaká: “I’m happy for those months which added something to my history with #ACMilan. It has been a special season for me, beyond the results. It was important being with the red&blacks once again. I won’t use the jersey number 22 anymore, #22 means AC Milan to me! I’m a red&black fan and I always will be”

Milan leaves the race for Iturbe: the latest

Juan Manuel Iturbe, Milan is low profile. It 's almost a formality. Milan Channel, the official broadcaster of the Rossoneri, announced to the fans and subscribers that Milan abandon the race for Juan Manuel Iturbe. A whole economic question, the player is too expensive. The Verona is not willing to go below the 25 million euro for the tag Iturbe. Milan leaves, and shifts its focus towards other goals. Now Juve have smoothed the way, Iturbe to the black and white.

-------------------------------------

Not too bummed out about it. Though i do hope we can get ourselves on a high potential/calibre player on the right. (Hopefully not Biabiany)

Milan relaunch Iturbe offer

Milan Channel insist they are still in the race for Juan Manuel Iturbe amid reports of a new €28m bid to beat Juventus.

The Verona talent is at the centre of a bidding war after his impressive debut Serie A season.

There had been reports circulating today that the Rossoneri pulled out of negotiations, as they thought the price-tag was going too high.

However, Milan Channel – the club’s official television station – announced in its news segment that they are still very much in the running.

The report stated that Milan currently have 10 strikers on their books, so Adriano Galliani is working hard to whittle that down before signing another attacking figure for the right flank.

Sky Sport Italia claim that a new offer has been made to Verona worth a total of €28m.

Only €17m would be handed over the first year with the remaining €11m in instalments.

Most media sources continue to maintain Iturbe has agreed personal terms with Juventus and prefers them as he’d have the chance to play in the Champions League.

Iturbe posted a cryptic message on his Twitter account this afternoon: “Patience awaiting the final strike.”

Yeah...not too bummed either...eve though he has potential the asking price is too damn high...he had ok season but not briliant, for verona to asked that much...anyway we have Menez on the right and we are playing only in seria A so is not that bad...Menez was very good for roma i was suprised when they let him go...In psg there were too many players that were bought for i high price and he fell down the pecking order..there are rumors that we are going after lavezzi...this is interesting..he already proven that can play in Seria A so if that transfer go through i'll be happy...but for now we must continue getting rid of the rubbish... constant,Matri, Nocerino, Robinho are next for sale...we almost certanly got rid of Amelia, Zaccardo(turkey), Silverstre ( back to inter) , emmanuelnson (roma), Birsa(rubin)...

So we need new left back...rumors are we are going after Armero ( i wanted this guy to come for 3 years) and santon so we will see.....

Valbuena and Griezmann are Milan’s alternatives to Iturbe

Milan are looking for fast and skilled offensive wingers. It was a precise request from Pippo Inzaghi. Iturbe is the first name on their list, but if they can’t acquire him, they will search for a valuable alternative. They are high on two names: Olympique Marseille’s Mathieu Valbuena and Real Sociedad’s Antonio Griezmann, who is shining in the World Cup. Milan ponder on the other options if they can’t land Iturbe.

I wouldn't put my hopes up. It'd take a gargantuan offer to pry Griezmann away from Sociedad, Valbuena on the other hand is more realistic. Though i'd prefer if we can get young blood hmm

It's all fine and dandy that we are being linked to great attacking players but what about the defence and midfield? Does Galliani never learn from his past mistakes?

I agree, but with the departure of Kaka. I think it makes sense to get an attacker in his stead. If one of Balo or SES gets injured, we're doomed to rely on one of them. In defence, we have the arrival of Alex and the (pending) arrival of Rami. I'm hoping Cristante can get a chance in midfield to impress, but we'll probably find a vice-Monty until he recovers.

What do you lot think about your alleged Iturbe bids?

It sounds false to me, Milan surely can't and wouldn't drop 25+M on a young attacker with so, so many holes in the squad and not enough money to fill them.

It's gotta be legit since so many reputable and not reputable sources are reporting this. Galliani always spends big on attack even when defence and midfield is in more dire need of reinforcements.
