Maybe have Orton still retain somehow or have Bryan stripped off the title the next night, to make the WM moment bigger.

Casey Kulas of ESPN Cleveland ( @CaseyKulas ) noted on his Twitter that there he heard from sources at this past Monday's RAW in Cleveland that there was a heated exchange backstage between CM Punk and WWE staff.

According to Kulas, the clash had to do with Punk being diagnosed with a concussion. Punk was reportedly heard saying, "I passed all your damn concussion tests" and "I'm not going out and telling fans that BS."

Again, there are lots of stories going around as to why Punk left, so take this as a rumor for now.

______________________________________________

Word is that Monday's RAW had 10 or 11 re-writes just that afternoon and evening alone. The last re-write came after 6pm after Vince McMahon and officials had the meeting with CM Punk.

Ryback tweeted the following joke on CM Punk this afternoon:

"I call dibs on GTS, Pepsi Plunge and running knee in corner. I am sure Sheamus will take the rest."

CM Punk at comic-con last weekend:

Punk appeared to be in a great mood and excited about this weekend. He was obviously really tired, and did talk about how he's worn out. He joked about being ready to do nothing but sit on his couch.

- He said that he's tired of traveling and never gets to see the places anyway since it's just going from one show to the next, without ever getting to do any touristy stuff.

- He said that he's been really sick, especially from September through November of last year. He was basically having weekly MRIs and blood work done, but they can't figure out what's wrong. He noted that he started eating meat again and is starting to feel a little better, but still wasn't even close to 100%.

- He called Batista a friend, but didn't feel that the time was right to come back because it was so unfair to take away the glory from the other wrestlers who work so hard everyday.

- He was frustrated with the direction the company was going and felt that the writers weren't in touch with what the fans want.

- He doesn't think that Sting should come to WWE because frankly, he doesn't have anything left in the tank and would again take away from the younger wrestlers.

- He's interested in the UFC if his body is up for it, but right now he didn't think his body was in any shape for it. If he could get feeling better, it might be an itch that he wants to scratch.

- He's good money-wise, and hasn't really spent much money so he's not worried about receiving a pay check anymore.

Batista vs Bryan vs Punk - Triple H special guest referee  - WWE World Heavyweight Championship

At the start Batista shakes hands with both Punk and Bryan, but during the match Triple H pedigrees Punk and Batista turns heel by smiling/nodding at Triple H and chucking Bryan out the ring. Just as Batista is about to pin Punk, Vince McMahon comes out with a new ref and then there's confusion. Bryan and Punk then both get up and, attack Triple H/Batista and chuck them out the ring. They then fight among themselves and eventually Bryan wins. After the match they shake hands as the whole arena erupts with yes chants.

I'm still convinced they'll do Lesnar vs Batista for the title. Just feels like a missed opportunity if not.

Maybe HHH & Steph finally give in to Lesnar after he destroys people the next couple of weeks and insert him into the EC, where he wins the title and goes on to fight Batista at WM hmm

With Cena rumoured to be facing Bray Wyatt, Lesnar's probably going to face Undertaker.

Taker is a legend but at this point I wouldn't be upset if they just done one last streak match

Because if it's not against a big name then nobody cares, if it's against a big name then that superstar is wasted in the ultimate jobber match.

at this point the only people worthy of facing taker (that havnt faced him at mania before) are Cena, Lesnar, and Sting. You can make a case for Bryan because he's hot and the match would be 5 stars without a doubt.

Vince McMahon is reportedly not giving up on Punk and wants the former 434-day WWE Champion on the Wrestlemania lineup.

While this isn’t believed to be a work, it certainly needs to be mentioned that given the nature of the business it could be or has the potential to become one if things are smoothed over. In fact, the wheels are already in motion for this to be used to give the impression that CM Punk is gone from the company, only to be reintroduced as Vince’s guy at Wrestlemania.

Allow for me to explain.

The premise for the CM Punk vs. Triple H program at Wrestlemania was for it to be a feud over “control of the company” with Punk representing Vince McMahon and Hunter representing The Authority. In fact, this was the same premise for a potential Cena vs. Triple H program at the show this April. It wouldn’t take much to tie in Punk’s elimination from the Rumble [by The Authority's Kane, who was already out of the match] and Punk’s cryptic Tweet to tell the story of Vince “bringing him back” to destroy The Authority.

Again, a complete theory but it needs to be mentioned so you get both sides of the story.

Problem is in an authority feud HHH will have to go over since vince will not be running Raw every week. Im not sure that Punk would return just to job to HHH once again.

Russo, is that you?

Lesnar should just do an Edge, beat the crap out of Christian (cause why else is he there?) and force himself in the chamber. Then beat the crap out of everyone, win the WWE title, and have a stare-down with Batista to end the PPV. Storyline pretty much writes itself.

Can we put the Shield and the Wyatt's in the EC already and call it wargames.

While CM Punk is still being advertised for Elimination Chamber and may appear on some other advertisements for upcoming live events, word is that he will eventually be pulled from those as well.

In the last week, two different people with knowledge of Punk's situation have noted that he was "as good as gone" from WWE when his deal expired in July and one person said they didn't expect him to even last until July.

Regarding Punk talking to Vince McMahon at RAW before he went home, word now is that Punk didn't see Vince until 7:30pm. Earlier reports said that Vince had the creative team start re-writing RAW just after 6pm when he found out Punk was leaving.

The reason the Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio match on RAW went so long is because it came during the period that was laid out for Punk's segment and the match had to go a second segment to cover the time.

There has been a working assumption within WWE creative for several weeks that Punk was leaving in July and would not sign a new deal. Sheamus will be replacing Punk at all SmackDown tapings where Punk was largely advertised as the main star.

Batista's current WWE contract is indeed for two years and has him working a full schedule but not for the entire two years of the deal. Batista has commitments to promote certain movie projects that will require him to be away at times.

As of this past weekend, the plan is for Hulk Hogan to be the host of WrestleMania XXX. Right now Hogan isn't scheduled to do anything physical and the story is he won't be allowed to do so based on his physical.

It's worth noting that Seattle was not the original site for the May 4th WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view. WWE changing it to Seattle could be a sign that they are going to build the show around Daniel Bryan some how. That decision was made two weeks ago.

WWE has signed a new five-year TV deal with BSkyB in the UK for a major rights fees increase. The new deal includes all weekly WWE TV shows including the debut of Main Event in the market. The main difference is that all 12 WWE pay-per-views will air as pay-per-view shows. In the past, Sky has aired several WWE pay-per-views as stand-alone live TV specials.

We noted earlier this week that Christian and Antonio Cesaro earned the final two spots in the WWE World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber match next month.

Right now the plan is for Christian to be in the match but his spot was given to him with the idea that if they come up with someone better, Christian will be taken out with an attack and "injury." Right now no Superstar is booked to take Christian out but there is an angle in place if WWE changes plans.

Regarding Brock Lesnar in the Elimination Chamber match, it was believed he would be there after the hype on RAW and the fact that it's his hometown but as of Monday, Lesnar is not scheduled to work the pay-per-view.

Lesnar has reportedly fulfilled all dates on this year's contract that expires at WrestleMania XXX. As noted, Lesnar has already re-signed through WrestleMania 31.

^ That sounds like Daniel Bryan to me and like Bryan, all Ziggler needs is to come up with a catchy phrase that the crowd can latch onto, he has a decent look (nh) and decent mic skills.
