I wouldn't have bought him myself - would have kept the cash and saved it for a striker or a higher-level AM to replace Mata in the summer - but now that he's here let's hope he's a solid back-up.

Honestly, I would have spend a few Million to return Piazon, and spent the rest on a Cf in summer.

If anything, I think this signing makes it easier for Piazon to get into the side in the future. If we'd held out and signed, say, Reus, he'd have had zero chance just as he all but had a few months ago. Now he at least has a shot as Salah is cheap and a very low-profile player - much easier to overcome.

Yes but everyone could see Hazard's ability before he came to us.

Salah is more unknown, Also, just because he has done well against one team, doesn't mean he will against everyone.
