ffs how is it boring ?
The Secret Fate Of Life monologue might be the best monologue that I have ever heard. Be it TV, books, movies.

Its a very good mix of everything, including a hot chick to google every episode.

Start watching Fargo. It's the closest thing you'll find to Breaking Bad.Yohan Modric wrote:Watching True Detective, it's getting better after a slow start. Much more action, especially in episode 4. It's just when it gets to the interview bits with Rust, it gets boring at times.
Also the story is presented in a convoluted way sometimes, so just read the episode synopsis on wiki and it made things easier to understand.
Watch the movie if possible, but not necessary. The show is like a million times better than the movie.

Looks fantastic. Looking forward to it. Gotham, Arrow, Flash and Constantine DC are getting in it

Flash will almost certainly be really cheesy and shit judging by the flash cameos in Arrow

Couldn't see a show/movie adaption being successful.

The comic book nerd in me wants to like it, I even like most of the cast, but the realist in me says that Constantine trailer looks horrible.

Tbf Arrow was meh/average at the start as well but they improved it to no ends and it's one of the best atm. Although that was CW and not NBC.
Also NBC are putting this on Friday slot which doesn't sound too hopeful. CW should have picked this as well IMO

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Nah but my worry is, they're actively trying to go for the happy, cheesy type vibe that we picked up on during the flash Arrow segments
As in, it's not a case of the show starting out weak. It's a case of the show purposely being cheesy. As i'm 90% sure it will be a happier version of Arrow.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
I wouldn't write off the Flash just yet.
Lotta people were skeptical about a guy in a green hood running around a city shooting arrows. Look how that turned out.
I mean there have been worse superhero shows....There was....."The Cape" after all...

London was a huge part of the Constantine comics. Kinda bummed they are not using the London setting for the show.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
The Hellblazer series was largely set in the UK but traveled around. It seems unlikely that the tv series is going to be too true to the comics so a shift in setting shouldn't really be a major issue.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
I rate all episodes equally really. Episode 4 I liked the most because it had a lot of action and it's the sort of thing I usually expect from a show. TD is unique in it's own way because it's mainly about the dialogue and sometimes without the action it does get a little tedious, but the more I watch I don't really mind the dialogue because I understand the story better.
