I thought Silicon Valley was awful and couldn't believe that Mike Judge created it. Like M99 said, the characters were horrible, one note, and lame. The premise has potential and since Judge is in charge I'll give it a few more episodes.

I've seen a few R&M episodes - it sort of reminds me of early Simpsons (in terms of the humour) and Futurama (with regards to the storyline). Quite a good show.

Rick n Morty is amazing. Fresh humour and something you will easy get addicted to. Only 20 minutes per episode as well.

I've just watched the first three episodes of Rick and Morty and that shit is hilarious! It's probably the funniest show I've seen in years. Thanks for the suggestion. Thumbs up

Anyone seen Person of Interest? A friend recommended the show but i find it too repetitive and a bit cliche after watching the first 6 episodes

Stick with it. It gets really good, ES.

I'm caught up and each episode, though the format is pretty standard, is quite interesting. The acting is solid, the dialog is witty and the overall plot is rather good.

There's a wee bit of a drop off in the quality of Rick & Morty episodes around the mid-way point of the season, but the last 3 or 4 episodes have been absolutely top notch.

It's great stuff. The only problem is it's only in the first season so I don't have too many episodes to binge on. It's a little bit like when I discovered Rubicon and loved the first season but was pissed when I went looking for the second one. At least there'll be more episodes of Rick and Morty. It's already been renewed for a second season.

I'm not sure you've watched enough of it. A great deal of the (best) humour in Rick & Morty is definitely aimed at adults given it's content. Between sexual innuendos and sarcasm, there is a lot of humour that relies on some level of familiarity with science and experience well beyond that of child or even pubescent. And some of it is just a wee bit dark for kids, to be honest.
