Very happy to see Poli on. Robinho was decent, often dropping deep to link up yet was rather anonymous in the 2nd.

If Cristante keeps on performing like this, I would like for him to be picked ahead of Monty. We can use Monty for matches that require experience. The amount of talent that Cristante has is brilliant, his passing ability for his age is almost world class.

I have been wanting to see Saponara and Cristante play since our first team players stopped performing; when they were given the chance, they both impressed. If only we gave them a chance earlier instead of playing the likes of nocerino and muntari.

A lovely turn of pace to begin a powerful run from De Sciglio, though it was an awkward pass in truth to finish the move. Nice to see Mattia showing the kind of confidence necessary to take people on.

Mattia as mentioned has the advantage of being proficient with both feet, a large advantage in a fullback, hence why someone like Glen Johnson is so skilled.

I wish he would show more confidence in the final third and sometimes take on his man when needed, though that will come.

From what I see of Cristente, his greatest weakness is controlling the ball.

Also I love hyping Cristante as much as the next guy, however it must be recalled that Atalanta are decidedly average opposition. Even with such a commanding scoreline, this is little more telling than our domination of the worst Catania side to see the pitch since their ascent to Serie A.

What I like about Cristante's passes that they don't bounce up and down the field like other playmakers. They simple glide without it being topspun or sliced which makes it far easier for the receiver.

Against Genoa we concede a single shot, against Atalanta we're battered and yet only here do we actually acquire a clean sheet. Football has always been a cruel and unpredictable game but our season has been particularly insane.

A great scoreline with fantastic individual moments to cherish: Ricky's 100th and Bryan's 1st goal, however far from a memorable performance. I'll reflect more generally on the game later, for now I need to finally get some sleep. Cheers lads.

Emanuelson was great too. We need to get rid of players like Matri, nocerino, and muntari and bring in someone like nainngolan.

If we are able to fix the entire team during this transfer window then I expect Allegri to do well, since as I have stated earlier, Allegri is the kind of coach that does well when all the elements are present as we have seen in 2011.

I don't think anyone should be happy about the defense in this game imo.  So lucky.  Definitely need to fix the shape of the team there a bit because, against a team with better finishers, that's a min of 2 goals.

The attack looked good mostly.  Honda replacing Nocerino will make a huge difference imo as Nocerino is... welll... shat lol.  Robinho is shat too and should be replaced by either the kid who scored today or Balo... preferably Balo.  Matri is Matri and should never start.
