I don't think that Marotta went to madrid to discuss about Coentrao mainly.

Marotta: Scudetto, then Conte

Beppe Marotta has explained that contract renewal talks between Juventus and Antonio Conte won’t conclude until the title race is over.

The Bianconeri, who hold a sizeable advantage at the top of Serie A, are seen to have been in talks with their tactician over extending his contract, which currently expires in June 2015.

However, the club’s director general has revealed that any negotiations have now taken a backseat in the business end of the season.

“There are no problems or distances between us,” Marotta has explained this week, alongside revealing a trip to Real Madrid.

“The relationship between Conte, the club, the President Agnelli and the leadership is excellent.

“At this time we are all focused on what would be an historic victory, which would be a third successive Scudetto.

“We have set aside the discussion about the future and will discuss it further on, aware that we have a great Coach on our hands.”

Marotta: 'Pogba value immense'

Juventus director Beppe Marotta assured Paul Pogba’s value “is immense and he’ll stay with us for many years.”

The general manager spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of today’s Serie A game with Fiorentina.

After reports this week PSG offered €70m for the French midfielder, Marotta was asked how much Pogba is worth.

“His value is immense. We are happy to have him and did not discuss him with anyone. This is his natural habitat and he’ll stay with us for many years.”

Andrea Pirlo is suspended today, so Marotta was questioned on potential replacements in future.

“Our football is global, so players are not tied down to one specific role. There is the option to change system and adapt players like Claudio Marchisio to positions that they are not naturals in.

“Juventus are always looking for eclectic players.”

The Bianconeri have many starlets out on loan, including Fausto Rossi whose goal allowed Real Valladolid to beat Barcelona on Saturday.

“Rossi’s case is emblematic of our football, as to make his mark he had to go to Spain. He was out on loan to several Serie B clubs and never settled. It means certain homegrown resources could be used better in Serie A.”

Juventus director Beppe Marotta has revealed that their loss to Galatasaray in the Champions League cost the club €25m.

The Bianconeri were beaten 1-0 by the Turkish side in ridiculous conditions at the end of last year, to miss out on the Last 16 of the competition.

And the board member has claimed that just one goal has a huge effect on the club and its resources.

“A football club has to deal with an imponderable factor,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“And that’s results on the field. The imponderable is the uncertainty of the game.

“Just one goal can have such a huge meaning. Our exit from the Champions League cost us €25m.

“Our financial growth compared to the rest of Europe is slow - compared to England for instance.

“In some stadiums we have under 50 per cent attendance. But for us, the new stadium has played a key role in the diversification of our revenues.

“More people through the turnstiles means more opportunities in the market.”

Prize money[edit]
As of 2012–13, UEFA awards €2.1 million to each team in the play-off round. For reaching the group stage, UEFA awards a base fee of €8.6 million. A win in the group is awarded €1 million and a draw is worth €500,000. In addition, UEFA pays teams reaching the first knockout round €3.5 million, each quarter-finalist €3.9 million, €4.9 million for each semi-finalist, €6.5 million for the runners-up and €10.5 million for the winners.

Playoffs: €2,100,000
Base fee for group stage: €8,600,000
Group match victory: €1,000,000
Group match draw: €500,000
Round of 16: €3,500,000
Quarter-finals: €3,900,000
Semi-finals: €4,900,000
Losing finalist: €6,500,000
Winning the Final: €10,500,000

A large part of the distributed revenue from the UEFA Champions League is linked to the "market pool", the distribution of which is determined by the value of the television market in each country. For the 2012–13 season, Juventus, who were eliminated in the quarter-finals, earned nearly €65.3 million in total, of which €20.5 million was prize money, compared with the €55.0 million earned by Bayern Munich, who won the tournament and were awarded €35.9 million in prize money.

====
Thats from wiki! I guess that we lost a lot cuz last year was our first year in CL after a long period and so we got lots of TV rights money. So now, we are in EL and I hope that we can reach the final to gain from the revenue of the tickets and also gain from the prize money.

Marotta: 'Tough Florence atmosphere'

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta admits there is a “tough atmosphere” at the Stadio Franchi.

The director spoke to Sky Sport Italia on the touchline ahead of the 18.00 GMT kick-off in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16.

“The DNA of Juventus is to try our best to honour every competition. It’s a tough atmosphere tonight, we can see and hear that, but it is our duty to give all we can,” said Marotta.

The first leg ended 1-1 in Turin and Marotta and his staff had lunch with Fiorentina patrons today, a chance to calm the often very tense rapport between the rival clubs.

“I can say every time there is a European fixture there is this protocol of a lunch put on by the host club. It was a cordial occasion.

“We talked about football in general and the two clubs, but we didn’t clarify anything in particular.”

Juventus remain the only Serie A club to have built their own stadium, but others including Roma, Milan, Catania and Cagliari are eager to follow suit.

“We can be used as a model for others. I’d also like to note the final eight in the Champions League are clubs who make considerably more revenue than us and that does make a difference in the market and therefore eventually on the field.”

Marotta: 'Juve had police escort'

Juventus director Beppe Marotta hit back at Rafa Benitez and revealed the welcome in Naples was “not as bad as last year.”

The general manager spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of tonight’s Serie A showdown at the Stadio San Paolo.

“We are forced to play every game with huge motivation, because all our opponents play the game of their lives against us.

“The journey to the stadium was better than last year, certainly, but it still doesn’t seem right that a football team has to be accompanied to the stadium by a police escort with armoured vehicles. There were some eggs thrown and a few insults, but overall not that bad.”

There is a huge security presence around this game and reports police confiscated fireworks that were hidden in baguettes, frisking both Juventus and Napoli fans on their way in.

Marotta commented on Napoli Coach Benitez’s claim Juventus have a huge advantage in the Scudetto race due to their larger revenue.

“Coaches should primarily talk about football and leave the economic side to directors. If it was a compliment, then I’ll take it, but I didn’t see that approach taken in the papers.

“Juventus are one of the oldest clubs in Italy and a global brand, while if we increased our revenue in recent years it is down to the hard work of the President, directors and management.”

Roma Coach Rudi Garcia said today that he hopes Napoli win, as he still believes they can catch Juventus at the top of the table.

“It seems only right that Garcia is in charge of Roma and has to motivate his men to the end, but we are motivated too and have no intention of easing off. We have an advantage, but still know we have to bring out quality and determination in every match.”

Marotta: 'Napoli like provincials'

Juventus director Beppe Marotta blasted Napoli’s “excessive euphoria” and said they “acted like provincial little clubs.”

The Partenopei earned a 2-0 victory in Serie A on Sunday night, ending the 22-round unbeaten run of the leaders, but remain 17 points adrift.

“We were a little annoyed by the excessive euphoria of Napoli, who after all only won one League game that is worth three points,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“They acted like one of those little provincial clubs who go mad after beating a big team, which is reductive for a side like Napoli.”

Marotta was speaking from pitch side at the Stade de Gerland ahead of tonight’s Europa League quarter-final against Lyon.

“We are hoping to get some players back to full fitness after injuries, particularly in defence. This is a very important test against a well-drilled side to be feared, but we care about this trophy very much.

“As last year, we are left alone to represent Italy and it remains a very important competition, especially as the Final will be played in our stadium in Turin. We are proud to be protagonists.

“We are trying to achieve the extraordinary record of three consecutive Scudetti. Of course it’s difficult to go all the way in two tournaments, especially with the injuries recently. We also have Arturo Vidal suspended in midfield today, so the choices are limited.”

Today Paris Saint-Germain announced they were not interested in signing Paul Pogba.

“We never had any contact with them, nor do we intend to sell. It’s still time for him to grow in his natural habitat of Juventus and we have no intention of losing him.”

Marotta wrote:Juventus were the first club in Serie A to build and own their stadium, though others are trying to follow suit.

“A 41,000-seater is the perfect dimension. We are often sold out and have an average of over 90 per cent attendance,” continued Marotta.

“Now we want to raise the bar when it comes to investments, but first we must increase our firepower by raising more revenue. It is also necessary for the team to grow in terms of experience.

“Our objective is always to improve, as every year we have made a step forward and we will do so again this summer.

“However, Juventus do not depend just on the so-called ‘top player’ and favours teamwork. Just look at the number of different players who find the net.

“It is important to find players who are versatile and suited to the project, which plans for several different systems.

“We have also invested over the years in young players who are showing what they can do around Italy this season and we’ll try to bring some of them back to base.”

Marotta already has several irons in the fire to raise the Bianconeri revenue.

“Our partnership with Adidas will begin in 2015 and we are working in the Lega to get the most out of pay-per-view television rights.

“The secret is matching the optimum sporting requirements with business affairs. Competing at the top level means balancing the finances to guarantee the project is sustainable.”

Marotta: Hands down on Conte

Beppe Marotta has called for an end to the dispute between Juventus and Roma over comments exchanged between Coaches.

Rudi Garcia’s call last week for opponents to up their game against the Bianconeri drew Antonio Conte’s ire and criticism that in turn saw the Giallorossi’s director general Mauro Baldissoni get involved.

Now though, the Old Lady’s dg has stepped in and has looked to put an end to the war of words.

“That’s enough, hands down on Conte, and no lessons from others, thanks,” Marotta has commented to the Gazzetta dello Sport this week.

“I can assure you that when Roma win, we will be the first to applaud.”

Marotta: 'Credit to Conte'

Beppe Marotta gave Antonio Conte much of the credit for a third consecutive Juventus Scudetto and will try to keep Paul Pogba.

The club hadn’t been able to win three on the bounce since the 1930s, but celebrated today after Roma’s 4-1 defeat at Catania.

“Conte drilled this mentality into the squad from the first day he arrived, so much of the credit for this Scudetto goes to him, as it’s an historic occasion,” general manager Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“It is a victory for everyone, even the invisible team that works in the background. It is a hugely important achievement.

“We knew from the start it would be tough between European competition and Serie A. We were really hungry and motivated to secure this title.”

Marotta was asked about Conte’s contract renegotiations, which they said would only resume after the season was over.

“We’ll have an opportunity to see each other calmly next week. I consider Conte among the best Coaches in the world, both for his football strategy and the way he motivates the group. He is precious for Juventus and we are holding on tight.”

The same goes for midfielder Pogba, who is reportedly at the centre of a €70m bidding war between Real Madrid and PSG.

“We told him our intention of renewing his contract and obviously to keep him here. We need to meet again in order to work out the numbers, but we do want to go forward together.

“Paul is intelligent and knows professionally he has the chance to grow in good time here. It’s difficult to predict his exit.

“Last summer we improved with Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente and Angelo Ogbonna. We’ll improve even more next season, albeit keeping in mind Financial Fair Play, so there will be no crazy spending.”

not quite that much we pay monthly installments so its kind of paying every year for one transfer. For example this summer we finally pay off Matri's transfer.
