Only English DFs to prevent Suarez from scoring this season: Williamson, Gibbs, Bruce + Curtis Davies. There's your back 4 vs Uruguay, Roy.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V4
Hazard needs to destroy Palace tomorrow. It's time for him to become "the man" on the team. I still haven't been able to cope with how passive he's been for us at times, Neymar, Ronaldo, Messi, Bale, Ibra, Ribery, Suarez etc he needs to be that type of player for us.
I've realised that a lot of the things I went through, Mourinho had already been through them, the weight loss, the sleepless nights, the loss of hair, the rapid aging and the deterioration of both his physical and mental health. This is what Newton must have felt like when the apple hit him on the head!

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V4
At home, City have scored the most goals (29) and have conceded the less (2).
Away from home, Arsenal have scored the most goals (14) and have conceded the less (5).
Thinking it'll be a goalless draw tomorrow.

City will score first and then it's up to Arsenal's quality to get something from that game.

Think City will edge it tomorrow. 2-1. Hoping for a draw though.
Don't think Chelsea have it that easy v Palace. Palace are on that new manager honeymoon period atm. Won't be surprised if they scrape a draw.
Spurs v Liverpool. I think that will be a score draw. 1-1
Aston Villa v United- Depressing trying to think how we'll win this game, or any atm. I just don't know tbh.
Newcastle v Saints- think the Geordies will win 2-0.

You will win Red.... Roonay is back, the answer to all problems
As long as we win i don't care about the other results really.
But hoping for Arsenal-City to be a draw and Liverpool-Spurs to follow suit.

Same here Moal, just hoping for our win, I couldn't care less what happens in other matches.
And to be honest this is the first year since 2009 I'm really confident going to WHL. Our record there has been abysmal as noted by almost everyone.

Think Utd are gonna win comfortably at Villa Park too, it's like their home away from home.
Confident about 3 points vs Palace too, the new manager 'honeymoon' period is something that never seems to bother us.

Arsenal are going to get their first whooping of the season tomorrow, IMO. The Bayern win and their home form are going to spur City on. Can see them putting 3 or 4 past Arsenal. Reality check.

United are winless without Van Persie in the PL.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V4
"This is not a criticism but the last manager Benitez knew he would not be the manager for the next year and he was chasing results," Mourinho told the Evening Standard. "He was not worried about the building of a team with a certain style.
"I didn't have a real base to start. For many reasons we knew the situation needs time and patience.
"But it would be easy to say wait for five, six years, that's not me or Chelsea or what we want for the players. We want to build and chase results. We're not favourites but want to feel as favourites."
--- Jose Mourinho.

Arsenal can win the league this week.
Keep an eye on Stoke vs Hull, I assume you'd want a draw there as well.

Arsenal fortunate to be down only 2-1, can definitely see City putting another three past them if they keep it up in the second half, though Arsenal do have a leader in Vermaelan on the pitch now.

They have been very good going forward. You're right, they couldve had 3 or 4 by now. We still look dangerous on the break though. Huge test for verm.

I'm more concerned about Koscielny's injury than the result. It could be a long spell out by the looks of it.
