Re: - El Pelado | Martin Caceres
Shame Barca let go of him imo, we could have really used him. non-catalans always find it harder to get into the team at Barca

Caceres
Martin is the pattern of player that Conte likes the most... he's a representative player for this Juve, great workrate on the field, he doesn't get upset when being substituted, he's always there to give his best with no arrogance ...

Arsenal target Juve's Caceres
Arsenal are reportedly planning a summer swoop for versatile Juventus defender Martin Caceres.
The 25-year-old Uruguayan is in his second spell at the club after a previous loan, but has now joined the Old Lady on a permanent basis.
According to TalkSport, Arsene Wenger has been impressed with his ability to fill numerous roles in defence and midfield.
Caceres is fully aware he is not a first choice at Juve, as he is currently standing in for the injured Giorgio Chiellini, making just 10 Serie A starts this season.
However, last week he declared that he had absolutely no intention of leaving Turin.
“No, I never thought about leaving. I only want Juventus. I am here, I’m very happy and want to always do well for this team. It’s where I want to be.”

^^Thats BS mate, you dont need to worry about that. One advice i would give people is that not to read/believe too many rumors at this point of the season.

Re: - El Pelado | Martin Caceres
caceras is my 2nd favourite juve player after bonucci he's not leaving. if any fringe first team/first team player was to leave it would be pogba or vidal. i can see raiola trolling us and demanding higher wages for pogba and 1st team football. vidal would only leave so we could fund a move for a top striker and maybe veratti as pogba could probably replace him in the starting 11.

Caceres has torn meniscus
Bad news for Juventus, as Martin Caceres has a suspected torn meniscus while on international duty.
The Uruguay medical staff released a statement confirming he will not take part in the game against Colombia due to this knee injury.
Defender Caceres sustained the setback during a World Cup qualifier with Peru earlier this week.
He will now fly back to Italy in order to undergo further tests and decide on a course of action.

Re: - El Pelado | Martin Caceres
Well that sucks. Now the only quality backup we have for our backline is Ogbonna. We might have to put Vidal back there when needed.

Re: - El Pelado | Martin Caceres
This guy is one of my favs.
He's not the best in the world but always gives 100%.I remember his debut goal vs Lazio from the corner of the box from his first stint with us. Sick goal.
Was shocked we let him go back to Barce, happy he's in Turin now.

Di Marzio wrote:Juventus is planning their future and they want Martin Caceres to be part of it. A few minutes ago Juve’s brass met with Fonseca, who is the agent for Caceres, to discuss an extension to the contract which currently expires in two seasons. This was the first meeting between the parties, the objective was to discuss the conditions of the potential renewal. Another meeting is expected to take place soon, and it might be the decisive one. The relationship between Juve and Caceres appears destined to continue.

Caceres: At our best to beat Lyon
Martin Caceres has conceded that the Scudetto is Juventus' main target, but hopes to win the Europa League as well.
The Uruguayan defender has recently become a mainstay in the Bianconeri XI after a spell on the substitutes’ bench earlier in the season.
And the 27-year-old has admitted that he is delighted to be in the side, whilst commenting on their goals for the campaign.
“The main goal is the Scudetto,” he told a Press conference. “But we are glad to be able to find ourselves at this stage of the Europa League.
“We’re going to be facing a very good Lyon side though, so we’re going to have to play our best game to get through.
“All we’re focused on is trying to beat Lyon – that’s it.
“I’m delighted to be in the team. The Coach has put his faith in me, and I feel good.”
