Chelsea and M. United in transfer battle for 8 year old Argentine wonderkid
Chelsea and Manchester United are locked in a transfer battle for an Argentinian wonderkid aged just EIGHT years old.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan and Atletico Madrid are also watching developments on the youngster destined to be the next Lionel Messi.
Claudio Gabriel Nancufil, nicknamed Snow Messi, plays for a junior club in Bariloche, Argentina, which is on the foothills of the Andes.
Nancufil has amazing dribbling skills and control, is left footed and is also very small for his age to further the Messi comparison.
His family have already got an agency, Sueno Comunicaciones, to broker a move to Europe with all of the big clubs vying for his services.
The BBC are planning to feature him in a forthcoming documentary about Messi and Diego Maradona. They hope to tie up a deal before Christmas.

Not mentioned in the article is that he apparently has the same growth deficiency problems as Messi.

How many of those supposed wonderkids they make documentaries on when they're 7 or 8 end up becoming relevant in the football world, once they grow up?
Anyone remember the next Pele, Jean Carlos Chera
?
What about the Arab Cristiano Ronaldo, Madin Mohammed
?

I'm sure there's kids on every playground who are good at dribbling. Would that mean they're the next Messi?

Trying to judge a kids talent so early is f*cking stupid.
Lost count of how many kids through the years have been hyped up only to never be mentioned again.

You'd think the parents would try and shield their young son away from all this madness and lunacy, but, instead, they're actually encouraging itHis family have already got an agency, Sueno Comunicaciones, to broker a move to Europe with all of the big clubs vying for his

Also, why the fuq are Chelsea getting involved? Haven't they ruined enough young player's careers? Now they want to destroy a kid's childhood

They sign for a club, but they wouldn't get popular for another 10-15 years, that's if they actually succeed.

The most important thing about this kid is that, by being from Argentina, he has experience in washing cars. Alexis taught us this was important in being world class.

Well to be fair how many of those kids are over 21 today? Lamela is probably the wonderkid that got the most amount of attention as a 12 year old in Argentina and he made it to top flights (not that anecdotal evidence is applicable to all cases).Casciavit wrote:How many of those supposed wonderkids they make documentaries on when they're 7 or 8 end up becoming relevant in the football world, once they grow up?

In any case I hope this guy doesn't go to England. If he can't find someone in Argentina that will pay for his HGH treatment then he should go to Spain or Italy, less culture shock and countries that have a proven history developing technique.
Also the impressive thing is not that he can dribble easily but that he can do so against people that look a few years older than him. Being able to perform in a higher age group is what usually sets these kids apart.
